I got two classic grilled steak tacos and 1 chicken tortilla soup. Both tacos barely got any meat in them. I Very disappointed. But the flavor was very good. The soup was delicious. The cashiers were very friendly. Great customer service.

This is my favorite of all the Coachella Valley Rubio’s. The staff is truly the best! They always welcome you with sincere warm greetings, and you can truly tell they enjoy working with their fellow staff. Vacationing in the area stopped by for late lunch on Wednesday 4.24.24. Wife had the chicken street tacos and I had the Fish taco especial. Both were very good and we went back for the same today. Staff were friendly, dining room and restrooms were clean.

As tradition for when I come back home, my partner and I love to visit Rubio’s for their amazing Shrimp Trio especially for their Mexican Street Corn shrimp tacos. To only come to find out that the Mexican Street corn taco has been discounted and the Trio has been completely revamped and we were willing and excited to give it a try despite our disappointment of the change, except this revamping has been a complete disgrace and downgrade from its previous iteration. The pineapple shrimp taco has the worst flavour profile that just does not work at all. And the gourmet taco actually had no flavour but salt and bacon, lastly the salsa verde taco had no salsa verde… Just shrimp and slaw on it and once again lacked a hint of care or flavour that the only thing that made it edible was the fact we ordered a few ramikens of the Chipotle white sauce that made it just edible to eat. Why would a company get rid of something that simply just works…even when they still carry all of the ingredients to make the item. That’s a lack of insight, imagination and innovation serve no purpose but self sabotage on the part of the business .
Additionally our experience with the manager when the cashier was inquiring about how to order the meal was disrespectful in both tone and professionalism.

I tried the new Fish and Chips. I would give it a grade C
Okay but more spicy than preferred. Liked the fish and its light batter but due to the spice was unlike the typical English fish and chips that I prefer. Liked the seasoned fries but not the coleslaw.
