Such a cute place! My favorite is the stuffed baked potato with corned beef! It’s so big I tend to only eat half at lunch. The other half with dinner 🙂 The daily soups, tasty!

The Southern hospitality here is the best I’ve ever experienced in the American Southeast! They were extra attentive to us because we were the only guests at 4pm. The owner/manager brought us complimentary chocolates and coffee while we waited for our order, and I couldn’t refuse the kind offering despite knowing the caffeine would keep me up all night. The loaded baked potato stew and Reuben sandwich were so tasty and filling! This restaurant and the entire town of Dillsboro are such hidden gems.

The staff is accommodating and kind, our toddler was hungry and they offered crackers, and even some bubbles while they prepared our meals. The food is so good. We had the chicken salad, of course. You can get it on a pita or any style bread (rye, wheat, white). The location is very historic so worth a visit if you travel. If you don’t know, it’s named “The Well House” because of the well found inside. It was established in the 1800s. Thanks, Well House.

The chicken salad with cashews was divine. Delicious smoked turkey. Wonderful people. Loved the sandwich / salad / soup deals. Loved the atmosphere. Next time I’ll try the bourbon pecan pie. Lovely place with lots of charm.

What a gem! We stopped at this place on our way back to Asheville from Dry Falls. Lovely, lovely, lovely. Food was amazing, service outstanding, and just an all-round honest-to-heart place. I have the Soup&Sandwich combo, with Roast beef on a pita pocket. Wow!

Delicious and cozy local spot. I can’t believe it took me 12 years to find them gem. Great location and absolutely DELICIOUS food. The perfect lunch spot especially if you are craving a delectable sandwich. I had the roast beef both times and can’t wait to go back again soon! If you’re in the area, definitely make sure to stop in to grab a sandwich or something!!!
