The Well – Center for Hope is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the emotional, mental, spiritual, and relational wellness of individuals in WaKeeney and Western Kansas. In addition to serving as a local coffee shop, The Well offers educational programs on mental and emotional health and serves as a bridge between individuals needing a listening ear, life coaching, or therapy with trained volunteers and/or licensed professionals. We also provide a private meeting room for therapists to meet with clients onsite and offer financial support to those in need of mental health services.

Incredible place for the community and they serve great coffee too! The seasonal menu was inspired and the space is cozy and clean. Beans and a lot of their supplies are local. Ownership is top notch and the wellness component puts it in a league of its own. Best spot for a stone’s throw in any direction. Will def be back!

Stopped by the Well today with my husband and sister-in-law. The coffee was really good, the price for the three of us was just $14 and some change. I had to do a double take because where my husband and I live to get coffee for the both of us is over $20. The staff/employees that work here are very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere has a great vibe. If you are ever passing through Wakeeney KS it is a must stop. 10/10 stars.

Good coffee, super clean, comfortable, friendly staff. Needed to stop for an hour to do a zoom call while driving on I-70. This was a great place to get coffee and do a little online work. Very reasonable prices for good coffee drinks. Well worth the stop.

This great little coffee shop is most definitely worth a stop if you are driving on I-70 through Kansas. Cozy atmosphere, clean bathrooms, and the coffee was bold and smooth.

Fantastic coffee! Easily the best coffee around for hundreds of miles. Driving through on 70, you need to stop here for your coffee fix. Non profit too, so it goes to a good cause. Prices are good, espresso, latte, cappuccino, etc., you name it they can make it. Oat milk too for those who need/want it. Plenty of parking, nice people, easily accessible.

We stumbled upon this while walking around WaKeeney. I saw it mentioned while researching our trip to Kansas, but didn’t think twice about it until we passed by and went in. It was so much better than expected. We even went back the next day before our drive back home to get another coffee, it was that good. I know if it was local, we would frequent it more often. And they had a wide variety of drinks. The staff was also very friendly.

What a great coffee shop. The coffee was delicious and the staff was more than kind. We were on a road trip and my daughter needed to stop to jump on a conference call and the owner of the shop allowed us to use a private conference room in the back. We didn’t know they closed at noon, but he allowed us to stay longer. We highly recommend stopping at this quaint coffee shop on your travels.

Stopped in The Well in WaKeeney KS, just off I-70, and was pleasantly surprised! The small-town charm was instantly welcoming and the chai latte was delicious – perfectly spiced and creamy. A great little spot to refuel on a road trip. Highly recommend!

This is an adorable little coffee shop. When I first walked in, I noticed how clean and tidy it was. Lots of coffee drinks to choose from as well as non caffeinated drinks. Very friendly staff. It is a non profit organization dedicated to helping people in the community manage PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other trauma. Amazing. Definitely recommend!
