It’s a beautiful space, good was good and unique, service was friendly but a little slow for the amount of people in the restaurant. We did the butter board, Hail Stones, and I had the chicken fried lobster.
The butter board was super fun, would have been a 5 if they used salted butter. Hail stones were amazing! BBQ sauce was delicious. Chicken Fried Lobster was fun! The lobster was delicious, the rest had potential but it was under seasoned.

If there were more than five stars, The Weather Room would get them. Very calm and relaxing atmosphere with clean decor and professional, friendly staff who ensure you have what you want. Braden was an exceptional waiter and even handwrote an anniversary card for us before leaving The beef tips with mashed potatoes and demi glass were quite possibly the best thing I’ve eaten in my entire life. My husband had the ribeye and said he now trusts someone else to cook a steak for him, which is a huge compliment. The bruschetta we started with was phenomenal, with fresh tomatoes, goat cheese, and a delicious balsamic glaze. The price isn’t out of line for the quality of food and service. The restaurant is inside a hotel, so be aware of what you’re walking into when you arrive. Zero complaints here; we’ll be back when we’re in the area.

Mom and I love trying fun places for lunch when we travel. This restaurant is located in the hotel lobby. Allison was very knowledgeable and friendly. Perfect service! We had the bruschetta appetizer and steak salad. The steak was a perfect med rare, just how we ordered it. Basalmic dressing with the salad was a perfect compliment. Delicious food. There was a chicken cordon blue sandwich the sounds amazing. Next time! We recommend this place! Yum!

My dad and I came in from out of town to visit family. We stayed at the Cyrus hotel and went downstairs for food and drink. The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the food and drink were amazing. The cherry nimbus is easily one of the best drinks I’ve ever had in my life. Heather, Kyle, jazz, Natalie, Melissa, and nick all made our experience extraordinary. We will definitely be back!

Somehow one of the best restaurants in Topeka is attached to a Hotel. That’s not to take away from its excellence just feels like it should have a stand alone location with how exquisite the food is but other than that everything here is top notch.

Overall: it’s just ok.
First the food here is good. But it’s more like something you would get at a corporate restaurant and they tried to plate it fancy. Definitely not with the price tag. We shared a bruschetta appetizer and the bread was a little hard and the tomatoes ungainly. My wife got the steak tips which were drowning in gravy but cooked properly. I got the candied pork chop and the topping was super heavy and sugary. The meat was cooked perfectly and I hated that the topping took away from that. The garlic mashed were mealy and thin. Very flavorful but the garlic was overbearing after the fact.
Our cocktails were perfect. I always get a bourbon old fashioned and this was one of the best I’ve had. Service was good.

I live in between Topeka and Manhattan and I have too many other choices in this price range that I would choose instead.

Fine dining at its finest!!! The weather room is very clean and elegant the staff is very professional and all very well groomed. Britney our waitress was every bit of the word AMAZING, from her professionalism and knowledge of the menu to her personable attitude. The food was beyond delicious and cooked perfectly. We also ordered drinks and I was completely taken back at the presentation and taste. It was almost as if we were at a cocktail lounge were they only focus on drinks and not a restaurant. It is family friendly and wheelchair accessible. Wonderful experience

This is the 3rd time we have eaten here. It is definitely our go to place for special night out. Our server, Braden was fantastic. He is genuinely warm and has a great personality.
He was attentive throughout our meal and made their fantastic food an even better experience

The restaurant has a nice ambiance, I would say laid back and classy. The food is genuinely unique, my wife had chicken fried lobster, I had your basic KC strip steak. The drinks were tasty, as were the desserts. Our waiter was very courteous and attentive, and the prices were reasonable.

I had a very disappointing experience here. I started by ordering a smoked Old Fashioned, and the bartender mentioned she was having trouble with the propane torch. Unfortunately, no one followed up to let me know it couldn’t be fixed — I had to ask about it myself.

For dinner, I originally ordered the Parmesan encrusted lamb, only to be told after ordering that they were out of it. I then chose the candied pork chop instead. When it arrived, the pork chop was raw in the center and the mashed potatoes were cold. After taking a couple of bites and realizing it was undercooked, I immediately felt uneasy, and my stomach hasn’t felt right since.

I informed the waitress, and she mentioned replacing the meal and applying some sort of discount. However, when the bill came, there was no discount reflected at all.

Overall, the service, food quality, and follow-through were extremely disappointing. I would not recommend dining here based on this experience.
