We recently came here to celebrate a birthday and I just want to say a massive thank you to the staff. The food was lovely and we experienced exceptional service from some very caring staff members. Not all disabilities are visible, and the staff member that assisted us was caring, empathic and gave us a great service. I sadly cant remember his name, but we remember his kindness! Thank you

Can’t thank them enough for accommodating our family group for a birthday meal. Not easy getting together as we are all scattered across the UK, they made the planning easy and on the day they manged to serve all 21 meals hot and at the same time, no mean feat! Really lovely afternoon, thanks to the team for making it happen

Had a great lunch, not been in here for a few years so was great to come back and have a positive experience. Great range of alcohol free which is refreshing to see. Will be back again soon.

The Water Witch in Lancaster is a real gem. The food was excellent — freshly prepared, well-presented, and full of flavor. The pub itself has a lovely atmosphere, warm and inviting, with a great mix of locals and visitors. The location by the canal adds a really nice touch, especially if you get a table with a view. The staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing

Fantastic pub. Really can’t fault it. Great selection of food and drink and there isn’t a better place to sit out at on a summer day

Nice pub, decent grub, by the canal, just gets very busy which can lead to longer waiting times. Outside can be difficult for walking if using sticks or with buggies/wheelchair etc and busy with clientele drinking/eating at canalside tables.

First off I didn’t notice it mentioned in reviews but this restaurant is nearly impossible to find. It’s across the canal so directions will bring you to it but from ACROSS the canal so you don’t see and don’t know why you keep missing it and you’ll drive around lost for ten minutes until you figure that out. There’s a little walking bridge you take and then you’re at the location. It’s a cool old building low ceilings and long rooms you sit where you want and order at the bar. Food was very good, beer in casks is room temperature and their onion rings are perfection, fish and chips was a bit bland but only complaint to have.

We eat here every time we stop in Lancaster. Great pub alongside the canal. Lots of tables to eat alongside the canal.
Today had the steak pipe that was clearly homemade and delicious. Others had a cheeseburger and fish and chips. Highly recommended.
