I dined here the previous evening. I specifically came in for their special on this day. The Shrimp Pad Thai was great! Everything from the flavors of the dish to the many shrimp (which were perfectly cooked and had a nice flavor themselves) left me extremely satisfied. I sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly and engaged. Good work!

We stop by when ever in Edisto. The she crab soup is always good and very rich. Hushpuppys were good. Waitress were very attentive. Highly recommend. It gets busy, so you may have a wait.

Went out to dinner, not knowing what to expect. What a surprise it was. The food and service were amazing. Our server, Kathy F, couldn’t have been nicer. Add her professionalism and fantastic food, and you end up with a great night out. I started with the She Crab soup and followed that with flounder stuffed with crab (see photos). As I write this, I am bursting at the seams. Thanks, Kathy, for the great service!!

Our last night on the island ………. And boy did we save the best for last . Flounder sandwich was very large and good . She crab soup for the first time excellent !!!!!! Wife had mahi with red rice and slaw . Very flavorable and cooked perfect . Job well done made this KY boy happy !!!!!!!

Not bad, but the prices are a little high: $38 for stuffed flounder with two sides. Surcharge for credit cards, $1.50 for water $3.50 for tea. Check for two: $107 total. Same comfortable decor, service a little slow for an uncrowded Wednesday evening. Will try it again next year.

Our family enjoyed this restaurant … The food was spot on and made with low country vibes as we would expect in edisto . We loved the drinks and drink selection. I didn’t have the heart to give this 4 stars and lower the rating… I do feel as if this is a 4.4 – 4.5 type place for edisto and if this was placed anywhere else that isn’t a big city it’s easily a local 5 star place .. so that’s what u get 5 from the foodhawk ! Also… My only advice is to hire more knowledgeable waiters/waitress . I’m not saying anything was wrong but coach them up just a tad better and for some reason it feels like your reviews could be better with this tweak… We loved it .. good food.. it’s what we came for.. thank u !

While vacationing at Edisto Beach, we stopped in for lunch at the popular Waterfront Restaurant on Jungle Rd. The large dining space has a clean, nautical vibe with booths and tables. The lunch menu is simple, offering seafood fares and sandwiches. I liked the fresh shrimp which were lightly battered and fried, plus the crispy, smashed potatoes. My wife ordered a cup of tomato roasted red pepper soup that you she liked very much. Afterwards, she was served the Waterfront Salad with balsamic dressing and grilled shrimp added. We walked away satisfied we ate at the Waterfront.

As a lowcountry native, I find 3 things very important when dining out. When it comes to food, service and atmosphere, it’s hard to find high ranking in all 3 categories. Waterfront Restaurant did that for us. From fish to vegetables, everything was super fresh, the atmosphere was refreshing and the staff was speedy and top notch. Waterfront will always be our #1 recommendation. We will be back.
