It’s such a great place to eat nice seafood.
We ordered 2 dishes:
1. Fish & Chips $17. Tilapia was cooked excellently (you can see in the photo how shimmering inside), and the house green salad was fresh; a sauce for fish was yummy. My rate is 4.9 from 5. My concern is how the fries were cooked. It was a little bit overcooked.
2. Garlic cream shrimp $26. If you order this dish, you will obviously find 10 beautiful shrimp cooked in enshrouded creamy garlic sauce. The rice is the ideal garnish here. The salad is fresh, like in the first dish.
The service was polite and quick. The waiting time from order to serve was 10 minutes ( Saturday 6.30 pm). Great job!
It’s good to reserve a table in advance because there were entire people when we finished.
Huge parking lots are closed.

Some of the best clam chowder I’ve had. Really rich and delicious and love that it was topped with crab meat. The fish and chips was also really good and and even though it was not cod the bari fish was a great selection for the fish. Shrimp quality here is really good and the garlic butter shrimp was very tasty. The only thing that was okay was the crab cakes. Friendly service and friendly team where you see the cook working for you. Looking forward to visiting again in the future.

I really wanted to love this place because the atmosphere is honestly a 10/10 — beautiful setting, relaxing vibe, and perfect if you enjoy dining by the water. The food had some great moments too. A few dishes were delicious and definitely felt five-star worthy, but others were overcooked and didn’t quite meet the same standard, so it was a bit inconsistent overall.
Unfortunately, the biggest issue was the service. It was extremely slow and inattentive, and it took away from what could have been a much better experience. When you combine great views with uneven food and poor service, it’s hard to justify a higher rating.
I’m giving this place three stars because the potential is definitely there. If the service improves and the kitchen becomes more consistent, this could easily be a top spot in the area.

My sister brought me here for my birthday and I’m glad she did. The food was exceptional and the waitress was also. P.s if they let you know that a certain drink is strong. Please believe them, lol

I can’t believe I’ve been around Pittsburgh for many years and not once have I been here. The restaurant is situated with a Waterfront View which I love. There is plenty of parking. There is indoor and outdoor seating. We decide to sit outside. Be prepared to deal with the wind.
The food we ordered tasted amazing. It was funny because we all ordered pasta. Pasta with shrimp and chicken and Pesto Pasta. They were all amazing. We also ordered calamari and garlic bread, also no complaint there.
I give the service 2 stars. Our waiter which shall remain nameless was a bit grumpy. We came for brunch and the guy was already in a bad mood (my opinion). Anyway, I’d never been at the restaurant and me and my family were catching up. I wasn’t sure what to order.
He basically told me to hurry up and order otherwise we may have to wait in line cause there are other customers. Well obviously! Anyway, that was rude. Next, I checked in on the Yelp app and a coupon popped up. The same waiter that waited on us said, they no longer honor those Yelp discounts (maybe it should be taken down). People will be disappointed if they can’t use it. But, he did let me use it.
Overall experience was just ok. The ambiance and the food made up for the mediocre service. Maybe next time will be better. I’m not giving up on the place.

Good food. Fries were especially good, crispy and hot. Excellent service. A little noisy and hard to see what would be nice views of the marina but I was stuck inside due to the weather. Outdoor seating looks great for a nice day.

First time visiting this town and found this gem! We went there for dinner and ordered the fish in cream sauce, shrimp in cream sauce and a clam chowder in a bread bowl. The following day we went again for lunch. This time we ordered calamari fritti, huevos rancheros, camarones kora and salmon. Food is amazing. Staff is friendly and attentive. Definitely would recommend The Waterfront Grill and Cafe. Would I go back if I’m in town? Definitely!

Unexpectedly found this little gem with my family today! The restaurant was clean and thankfully didn’t smell fishy (which I anticipated because they offer a large seafood menu). Pretty good dinner menu! We came on the second day of their new seafood menu, which has plenty to choose from. I ordered the Golden State Filet Mignon, which was cooked to order and comes with a side (I asked for brown rice and paid extra for the side of carrots). The seafood was obviously fresh (as I mentioned before, no fishy smell anywhere) and tasted great in the Garlic Butter Shrimp my dad ordered, and the Fettuccine Alfredo with Shrimp that my mom had. Service as friendly, and checked in with us often. We’ll definitely come back for another visit!

The ceviche and clam chowder (in a sourdough bowl) were both good; ceviche was fresh and came with tostadas and the Clam chowder was rich and tasty and the bread bowl was yum. The Calamari fritti not so much and was kind of a disappointment.
