With the current star status, we figured this place was going to be a good little diner. It was not great. The pancakes were the best part, and they were just a hair undercooked in the centers. My husband’s omelet was OK. The ingredients were not quality ones and it was just thrown together (as in everything piled on one side, the other half just egg). Same with the brunch burger – a basic unseasoned frozen burger. The home fries did not have any seasoning either. Just very lack luster meal. Nothing “bad” but nothing that was good. We decided we would not care to return.

The food was very mid. I ordered an omlette which came out lopsided with frozen ingredients just thrown in with some eggs.
My wife ordered a breakfast burger. When we asked the waitress what came on it, the answer was “you can do whatever you want and make it the way you want it”. She then listed all of their available toppings for the burger. In the end, it was a frozen burger patty that was cooked with zero seasoning and not well-done as requested. The potatoes that came with it were barely cooked and similarly unseasoned.
Overall, if you have no other options, this place is fine and serves edible food. If given the choice, I’d skip it and go somewhere else.

Went to this diner as it was highly rated on maps, but was honestly really disappointed. The breakfast was rather pricey for an omelette with uncooked vegetables in it and the atmosphere didn’t feel very warm. 20$ for an mediocre omelette with some home fries and a coffee… I had way better breakfasts for 13$ for the same around Corning.

Was just fine for a standard American Breakfast: Definitly Recommend. Service was acceptable. Food was actually fantastic, for what it was: I had the Garbage/Everything Omelet (or whatever they call it) . It was ABSOLUTELY the best omelet I’ve ever had. OUTSTANDING. everyone else enjoyed their meal; nothing anyone complained or raved about though. Waitstaff were average.
You won’t do better in the area for simple Americana breakfast.

Came here for lunch on Wednesday and had the buffalo chicken wrap. It had a more sweet flavor then what I am used to with buffalo chicken but it was still so delicious and good. I got it with ranch on the inside instead of blue cheese. And I got fries as well. Very impressed and I would recommend and come back another time.

The Wagner is a local favorite for a reason! The service is always quick and friendly, with very attentive wait staff. The food comes quickly with generous portions and you’ll likely be offered a drink refill before you’ve even had a chance to empty your cup. This is my go to for breakfast and I’ve never been disappointed!
