This is a nice little breakfast nook. super welcoming and unpretentious. I didn’t end up trying the waffles (even though they’re right there in the name!), but my classic brunch hit the spot perfectly. I went with eggs, home fries and toast. Everything was cooked just right, flavorful without being overdone, and the portions were generous enough to leave me full and happy.
It was fairly priced for the quality and exactly what I was craving for a late breakfast/lunch vibe. I’ll definitely be back to give those waffles a try next time!
Highly recommend if you’re looking for a chill, reliable spot in the neighborhood.

I’m really at a loss to understand how there are so many of these restaurants in the State College area. Our breakfast was really nothing special. The grilled sticky was not grilled at all, in fact the dough was still raw in portions of it. The famous home fries weren’t seasoned and had no onions or peppers mixed in to them. We also found the sausage links to be very fatty. The waffle was nothing special. I’d rate it as just ok and would do in a pinch but there are far better dining options available in the area.

The food here is consistently good. The Win Win waffle is delicious. The wait is always long, and if every table was full then I would understand it, however there are plenty of open tables every time I go. It seems like an efficiency issue. The staff is pleasant, and the food arrives quickly. Perhaps adding a server or two and seating all of the tables would benefit everyone.

The only negative I had about today was that our waitress took the coffee cups off our table (because we weren’t drinking coffee) and picked them up by the top where your mouth touches the cup instead of taking them by the handles or bottoms. The food was hot, cooked perfect, and was visually pleasing. The pancakes were huge!

Stopped in for brunch wirh friends visiting from Lebanon County. This location NEVER disappoints! Waitress, Lauren, was awesome. Our meals arrived quickly with generous portions and so, so good!

The Waffle Shop is great. Everything is made from locally sourced products when available, and in season. Jen is great too. She was so sweet, and you can tell she takes great pride in the shop. I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed an eatery, as much as I did here. Very clean, very friendly, and the food was soooo good. It had a nice, airy, and lighthearted atmosphere. But was warm and comfortable inside. Hand sanitizer has been placed right at the entrance. There is also an ATM, and some dedicated parking spots. The Waffle Shop is easy to find from the road. The breakfast salad was so good. Definitely my favorite. The pancakes were also really, really tasty. I’ll be returning here very often. To the staff, thank you for giving me such a nice experience ♡

Absolutely loved the waffleshop! Me and my lady per usual ordered multiple plates all of which were the best.
Banana nut waffles, famous eggs Benedict, strawberry waffles.
Grand total of $30 bucks! Most meals under $10 dollars.
The wait at the door is a little hectic so if you’re in a small group just take a seat at the bar!
Whitney is the best waitress there by far!

We had a great breakfast. There was plenty of food. The banana and nut waffle was very yummy and the veggie omelet was very flavorful.

My husband, 2 sweet little pups and I were Fall leaf peepin’ en route to western states. After a smelly night in the red roof inn, we stopped at The Waffle Shop about 30 miles down the road. I will share the good, the bad and the ugly. The good: breakfast was quick, bacon was even faster, the service was good with constant refills of coffee, and they offer local Pennsylvania cuisine such as creamed chipped beef. The bad: they don’t seat you unless the whole party has arrived, there is a revolving door of men using the restroom, cash only which definitely means money laundering, and the cashier continually counted money in the open, teasing the peasants with her wads of cash. The ugly: the creamed beef might give you the runs, and there is a vicious battle between the original owner who now owns the “original waffle shop”, he sounds like a total sleeze ball! Overall, 5/5 an excellent experience at the waffle shop and would highly recommend to all passing through!!

Place is slow. If you want a long leisure meal this is the place. 30 for a burger and fries and a pancake and sausage. Little outlandish of you ask me. They get a star for great customer service and clean space.
