Awesome first experience. Everything we ordered was delicious. Bruschetta and stuffed portobello for appetizers both amazing. Salmon and steak for entrees were equally great. Service was prompt and friendly. Overall excellent experience.

First time eating here. Started with 75 cent wings. Very good. Meaty and tasty. Then had burgers and fries. I had the Texas melt, the wife had the boss burger. They were both big and delicious. Fries were crispy and fresh too. Our waitress was nice and attentive. We’ll be back soon!

Can’t say enough good about this place. Wings are the best in southern illinois. The boss burger is outstanding. Healthy heap of fries with the burger. Our server was top notch and didn’t get mad at me when I broke a glass and made a mess. Love this place and will continue to visit on regular basis!!

This was our first time dining at The W, and it fell short of expectations. The entrance looked like it hadn’t been cleaned or swept in quite some time, which wasn’t a great first impression.
Although we had a reservation , we were seated within 5–10 minutes, the tablecloth looked previously used, and the floors didn’t appear they had been swept. We waited about 10 minutes before being greeted, the service remained slow throughout. We were there for 2 hours .
To add to the frustration, several tables that arrived well after us were served before we were.
The food itself was average, nothing special. Unfortunately, it was not what we had hoped for.

I’m here visiting some friends, and they couldn’t wait to take us. We take vacations to find new great places to eat. A return visit to an area is rare, but we will be visiting this place again. Wow!! U have to try the Chop, and Salmon was spectacular.

IT READS FINE DINING…I expected a normal quiet..enjoy your meal and soft talk with family…..I might as well went to a local bar on band night…Loud…so many people crowded into a small dining area…Food was good..that was a plus…but by the time you gobble it up just to get outside for peace…it was not a relaxing Fine Dining experience…sorry

Bruseccta was great, the porkchop was lacking seasoning and with pink meat next to the bone. Waitress was good, In the “main” dining room was loud with almost not able to listen to table mates conversation, Still a horse barn. Not a white table cloth restaurant.

Went to The W for the first time on New Years Eve. It was a great experience! My wife and I made reservations for 8 and were sat pretty quickly. Our waiter was very nice and checked on us regularly. We also had other wait staff checking on us and other guest as they would go by. You could tell they were working their butts off! There was a bit of a wait for the food but nothing extreme for a restaurant of that caliber. If you want quick go eat fast food. (You know who you are guy who was a jerk). The food was cooked perfectly I had the steak Oscar and my wife have the salmon both of which had really good flavor. We will definitely be back.
