Food was very expensive but hit or miss as far as quality. Duck was overdone but somehow still not crispy. One plate of scallops was perfect, another was raw. None of the charred caeser salads were even slightly charred in any way. Oh, and it took 1.5 hours to get our food.

Hosted a party here and it was beyond our expectations. Food, drinks, service, and environment were all great. So many areas for your event to be customized and prices are very affordable.

Waited over an hour and 20 minutes for any food. Waitress showed up once to refresh water and one glass of wine after being waved down, but never came around again for anyone else’s drinks during that time. Had to walk to the bar for a drink. Asked for the check before being told food was on the way. Order was incorrect, meat overdone. Never again. Don’t bother.

Umm tried to order a salad on a Friday night and apparently they don’t serve salads tonight. Stuffed peppers big NO sorry horrid. Brussel sprouts with cashews very good. Waitress when we finally had one was wonderful and apologetic. Thank you for her but sorry we will take a break for a bit. Let us know when you have a new cook. Thanks.

Has potential. Would go back maybe later in the season when they had a chance to get a bit more experience. My wife and I had reservations there Friday night. The atmosphere was great, and the place was packed. It took a little while for our waitress to even ask us for drinks and then a few minutes later she came back to tell us that they could not make an Amaretto Sour because they do not have sour mix. After I asked to see a drink menu (which I do not understand why that didn’t come first). I ordered a “V’Randa Margarita” and my wife order a Lemon Drop Margarita (not on the drink menu). The lemon drop had a hint of liquor and nearly all lemon but the V’Randa margarita was almost pure tequila. After that we just stuck with wine – can’t mess that up – except the first one we ordered they were out of. The waitress did apologize and say the bar tender was newish. Which is crazy to think you have only 1 bar tender on a Friday night with a packed house, and she was new? For appetizers we had the home-made chips which were good and for the main course we had the Salmon and the Steak Frites. The waitress could not describe the sauce used on the steak, so my wife asked for it on the side. When it came out sure enough it was not on the side. I thought it might be the waitress’s fault until the bill came and right on the bill it stated sauce on the side, so it was the kitchen not paying attention to that one. Even with all that the food was still very good so we tried the desserts. I wish the waitress would have told us they were so huge as we ordered one each and after 20 minutes of waiting, they brought out these huge desserts. Which justifies why we had to wait so long. All night you could tell the team was having trouble. Our appetizers made a stop at a neighboring table before coming to us and right before our main course arrived two waitresses walked along the tables like deer in headlights not knowing who they belong too. Unfortunately, they were not ours and so back into the kitchen they went.

Absolutely terrible. Food and drinks were awful, expensive for nothing. Server was very understanding felt really bad for her that she had to serve that horrendous food. Chips were stale and everything was cold. Sad that this beautiful restaurant was so bad.

Fantastic place! Great views, friendly staff, yummy food and the prices are fair too. Keep in mind you do have to drive through Beaver Island to get there.

Really wanted to like this place. Beautiful venue, so much potential. One of our worst experiences dining. The drinks were horrible. Soda was flat, way too much simple syrup. Bar tenders are extremity slow and the place was not busy. 20 minutes to get- not so tasty drinks. If you go, get something premade, meaning canned or bottled. Appetizer came out with the pizzas and the pizzas didn’t have any flavor. Pretzels were good, but they were pretzels. Tried this place last year and had the same experience, thought we would give it another try. We won’t be back.

Horrible! Took forever to get drinks. It took over 30 minutes to get appetizers and two were ordered and received only one. The 30 minutes later dinner was brought to the table and the order was wrong and they finally brought the second appetizers. The food was tasteless and you can taste “old” oil in the fried appetizer.. The view is wonderful but don’t come here for food or drinks.
