We had a truly wonderful dining experience at The Vine Trattoria in Berkeley Springs. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that made the evening feel special.
The food was outstanding. We began with the fried calamari and broccoli rabe, both beautifully prepared—perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and wonderfully traditional. Every bite reflected care and authenticity. The gnocchi was light, tender, and absolutely delicious, and the chicken piccata was equally impressive—balanced, flavorful, and expertly done.
To end the meal, we enjoyed their unique take on tiramisu, which was a delightful and memorable finish—creative, comforting, and simply delicious.
Our waitress, Melanie, was friendly, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu, offering helpful insights that enhanced our experience. Chef Charlie also took the time to connect with us and was just as warm and gracious, which truly speaks to the heart behind this restaurant.
This was more than just a great meal—it was a lovely experience from start to finish. We left happy, satisfied, and already looking forward to our next visit. We will definitely be back!

The Rock fish was absolutely divine and their calamari is the best I have ever had!

My family and I went here one night during our vacation in Berkeley Springs and it was lovely! The service was extremely good and everyone was accommodating and friendly.
The food was out of this world with many authentic Italian dishes to choose from. I had the rigatoni dish which was amazing and the baklava cheesecake for dessert which was delicious!
Will absolutely dine here again if we come back to town in the future!

Great food. Fresh. I enjoyed every bite. I hope they will add Vine Leaves to their dinner menu. The seating is good but prefer cushion seats.

Open and airy, the bar tender Scott was amazing!! He had great recommendations and really cares about your experience.
The old fashioned was a delight and the pear martini was sooo good. Highly recommend.. the food was prepared with lots of thought and love. The hospitality was off the hook. We came all the way from New Jersey and really enjoyed!!

When my parents (who are from Jersey and Philly) said this restaurant was incredible I knew we had to try it! The restaurant had a great dinner crowd and the staff were attentive! The food was to DIE for! This place is perfect for a date night though we brought our 2 younger sons so definitely family friendly. Highly recommend and would love to see this new B Springs restaurant continue to be successful!

Really was looking forward to going. Alas, did not live up to other reviews. We were told several times they had a new chef and the menu was changing.
We started with glasses of Chianti and the Greek Meatballs. Both very good. The chili oil drizzle around the tzatziki sauce for meatballs was delightful.
We ordered Rigatoni and Chicken Picotta.
Rigatoni arrived with pasta still dry and hard in the middle. Sent it back and it was replaced in about 10 minutes, but with Penne pasta. The menu notes it has peas, but we couldn’t find any.
Chicken Picotta had a delicious lemony sauce and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Unfortunately, it came with spaghetti not the angel hair pasta on the menu. The pasta was very gooey and inedible. The whole garlic cloves on top were almost raw.
Finished with an espresso and a latte, both very good.
Overall, disappointed in the meal. I think we’ll give them a couple months to sort things out and try again.

We had the most enjoyable evening here 4/9/25. Our dishes were clearly homemade for an authentic Italian experience. The service was incredible, truly. Many people were available to assist with plate clearing, refills, and questions about the menu. Our waiter even ran down the street to give me my purse I left at the table.

The chef and the menu have changed since my original review, but the owners are the same. The new style of food is described as Mediterranean. I have not been back as yet to try the new menu items. This is the original review: This new authentic Italian restaurant is very good. They are opening in stages. Street parking and even sidewalks through the patio area. The indoor bottom floor is accessible with a ramp. There is an outdoor patio and stage. There is staff located at the door to help visitors. Nice restoration with plenty of room between moveable tables. Restrooms are also accessible. Food was wonderful and the staff were very attentive. My understanding is there are plans for meeting rooms/private dining areas upstairs with an additional rooftop dining. The owners, Charlie Curia and his friend Sue are very nice, greeting everyone at their table.

Phenomenal food, welcoming atmosphere & exceptionally accommodating servers (our friend had his 3yo with & the staff was super sweet to her). Their chicken picotta was incredible & the iced tea was the best we’ve had anywhere. It’s a good thing they’re further away from us or we’d be in here all the time LOL!
