We ordered takeout from The Vine and were highly disappointed. The pizza was so thin and greasy that it was practically inedible. The Caesar salad arrived warm and wilted, which was very unappetizing. Not pictured is the Bolognese, which was made with the wrong pasta. When we asked about it, we were told, “Oh, sorry, we’re out of it, so we just used what we had.” To make matters worse, the pasta was cold. Despite the restaurant being empty, we still waited an additional 20 minutes beyond the pickup time we were given over the phone. I can understand why it was empty. Overall, I would not recommend ordering takeout from The Vine, it did not live up to basic standards and very disappointing for the price we paid.

Wonderful in-house pasta dishes! Went with family and had a variety of entrees… sis and son’s favorite meatballs ever! The delicious meat ragu lasagna I had was paired with two sauces (see pic). Drinks and dessert were good, too! Restaurant took over a location that has had troubles probably due to poor ambiance but they’ve renovated the space and it was lovely! 4 stars for atmosphere only because it’s not in the quaintest location for a tourist town. That said, we are locals and will definitely go again .

Literally the best Italian place in Falmouth. We just came back from Italy and this was truly an authentic experience from the kind staff, the gorgeous restaurant interior, and 10/10 food. The food was absolutely delicious, especially our bruschetta which was one of the best we’ve ever had! We will 100% be back! Thank you so much for this incredible experience from drinks, bread, and courses to desert!

We had an exceptional experience at The Vine! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly, and the atmosphere was inviting. The food was absolutely delicious, authentic Italian flavors that left us craving for more. What truly sets this place apart is the stunning tree vine in the middle, adding an extra touch of beauty to the ambiance. It’s definitely the best Italian restaurant we’ve ever been to, and we can’t wait to return! Highly recommend to all Italian food enthusiasts!

Upscale and comfy atmosphere with engraved leather placemats. Booths, tables, bar and private dining areas available.
We ordered a bottle of Chianti that was ok, a bit high in tannins for my taste, however. A wider wine selection would elevate the experience at this restaurant.
The caprese was yummy but very cold, like it must’ve been inside a fridge for awhile, didn’t affect the taste but I prefer a caprese to be room temp/cool vs cold.
Complimentary crispy bread and oil with parmesan cheese was served but the oil didn’t really have a taste.
My partner ordered the fettuccini bolognese and I ordered the fettuccini del mare. Bit were excellent, save for my partner’s pasta was a bit overdone for his taste. My dish was excellent save for needing just a hint of more salt.
Finally ordered the Mille fueilli, an extra angst dessert dish that I rarely come across in the US but unfortunately they did not have any more so I ordered my second choice of the pistachio flan. I had hoped there would be a pistachio cream inside but it was a plain flan with pistachios on top. Still, it was delicious.
Overall, an enjoyable experience, good service and good food. Save for a few minor personal preferences, I highly recommend.

We had a lovely dinner at The Vine. The bolognese was delicious and I loved the burrata on top. The Tuscan kiss martini was amazing as well. Service was top notch!

I assumed a place with homemade pasta would have good Italian food but sadly no. I probably should have gotten the hint when only two tables were occupied on a Friday night. My chicken Marsala tasted overwhelmingly of wine – like absolutely reeked and was completely overpowering, with dried out chewy chicken. My friend’s carbonara was completely flavorless and featured an unusual almost ramen-like noodle. This place really needs to go back to the basics, hugely disappointing (especially for the high price point). I will say the arancini were fantastic though.
I’m kind of wondering if the place changed ownership recently because quality was shockingly poor and the photos listed on the Google Maps listing don’t really seem to match the menu.

Great newish Italian restaurant in Falmouth. The dinners our group had were very good – Fettuccine Alfredo, eggplant parmigiana and lasagna with bolagnase sauce.
The service was excellent and the space was very nice as well. Definitely recommend
