The Village Pub is a community-focused restaurant serving robust-American-style-Italian-food. We specialize in from-scratch items, including, great pizza, pasta, appetizers and world-class cheesecake. Outdoor opportunities abound within a few hours driving distance of the Village Pub, which is nestled in the tiny town of Saguache, a population of 500. Also, several hot springs are less than an hour away. There are two ski resorts a little over an hour away. Followed up by a good soak, few things are more appealing.

Stopped here since it was the only place open late at night and it was a very pleasant surprise ! From looking in the window I thought it was going to be a small town bar feel where outsiders are looked down upon, however it was very welcoming and comfortable on the inside. Place was super clean! We got mozzarella sticks and pizza and both were delicious. Definitely check them out!

Came in for lunch, but the food and service was so immaculate I had to come back for dinner. DO NOT FORGET TO ORDER DESSERT, the cheesecake is amazing. I ordered the sweet chili wings and a calzone for lunch. I’ll be back for the Cajun chicken Alfredo, it was too good to only have once !

What a gem!! I’ve driven past the Village Pub many times and never stopped. After visiting today and eating there, I have to say it’s worth the stop. The food, service and atmosphere are absolutely stellar. Amy served us and was fantastic and the cook Colton came out to check in and make sure everything was wonderful.
The spinach artichoke dip with herb glazed bread was the best I have ever had. The calzones are fat and stuffed with fresh ingredients. Highly recommend if you are passing thru Saguache Thursday – Sunday. I’ll be eating there a lot more in the future!

Best calzone we’ve ever had! Had the Southwest, really good green chile (and we are from NM so we would know). Seems like the local hangout and we could definitely see why. It’s a must stop if you need a bite heading down Hwy 285.

Driving from The Great Sand Dunes National Park to Gunnison, there were no restaurants except in this small town. By 2:30 p.m., the other restaurant had already closed, so we tried The Village Pub. We were so glad we stopped in. Their pizza’s were amazing, and the restaurant was very clean and looked brand new. The owner was very friendly. So if you are hungry and in the area, this is the spot!

Overall, the food was very delicious. The waitress serving at our table was polite, friendly, and efficient. Although my grandmother was not pleased that there was no coffee available. I would definitely come back to this place in the future.
