Had my daughter’s bridal shower here last weekend.
What I liked? The room itself was nice, the staff friendly and helpful, the price was fair.
What I didn’t like? The entrance to the restaurant looked like a storage area with chairs and boxes and restaurant supplies stacked against the walls. The food was lukewarm and there were no tablecloths under the chaffing dishes where the buffet was set out. The left over food that was put in aluminum pans was placed on the table the same time the cake was brought out near the cake making it look tacky.
Would I go back? Probably not but if I did I would definitely voice my concerns before I signed a contract.

My husband and I had our wedding rehearsal here on 11/1/24 and John and his staff were extremely professional & attentive!! You can imagine how stressed out a busy bride and groom are the day before the wedding, but Jon made sure that everything was in order when we arrived. Our bridal crew were in the beautiful back room and we enjoyed delicious hot appetizers, hot entrees, beverages & dessert. Thank you John & staff for allowing us to enjoy our night with our favorite family and friends!!

Had a baby shower here in the “fireplace room”. Food was okay at best, but price per head was fair. Some of our food was not cooked properly and it was replaced. The service was okay, not very attentive or accommodating. The atmosphere felt a little thrown together. Chairs just shoved against a wall. Looked a little like it was throw together last minute. We were disappointed that a few things we asked for weren’t there, even though we were told it would be. Feels a little run down overall so I don’t think we will be back.

Had a date night and decided to check out the village inn. We’ve had our eye on this place for a while and we’re glad we stopped by. It’s really cute inside. Has a bar area and a dining area. Our server was great too. Attentive and super knowledgeable of the menu. We had the chicken parm, shrimp scampi and stuffed meatballs as an appetizer. The chicken was perfect, thin & crispy. The shrimp scampi needed a bit more flavor. The meatballs were so tender!! For dessert we had a slice of cheesecake & cannolis. The cheesecake was so good but it can do without the chocolate sauce. So make sure to order it without the chocolate sauce! They didn’t get 5 star because our appetizer came out the same time as our entrees. Other than that great experience & will be going back.

Im so thankful for John and the entire staff at the Village Inn (Wayne). The venue we were going to use for our daughter’s baby shower canceled on us. John was able to accommodate our party. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and I was provided time to decorate.

I had an excellent experience here. Went in with my girlfriend, sat down at the bar and had some dinner. Bartenders were as good as waiters and waitresses. Made sure we were well-attended to and.kept checking up on us. Happy hour prices were great and food and service were perfect. Our drinks, apps, and main course were all served perfectly on time and without a problem. See pics attached for price analysis.

We had my daughter’s bridal shower in the back party room. What a magnificent event! The room was just perfect for 50 guests and all our activities (flower bar, balloon arch, games, gifts). The food was excellent! John was a pleasure to work with and very accommodating. Would highly recommend.

The main course left a lot to be desired. Very little meat, especially when a man is going to eat. The meat in the main course should have been at least double. Not to mention that the amounts of meat served at our table were very different for each dish.
The service staff was poorly educated. When they served the soup as a starter, we asked for a larger portion of bread. We had to ask three waiters, until after a very long time, they brought a new portion of bread. Unfortunately, when they served the small milk holder on the table, the waitress spilled the product on the black coat of the person in front of me. She didn’t even apologize.
