Reviews
Bread was not Swirled Rye, corned beef was dry and rubbery!
Chicken soup was mostly broth and had Rotini noodles? The unsalted homemade potato chips were good!
As for the food, it didn’t disappoint. The menu offers a solid variety of options, and everything I tried was well-prepared and flavorful. The portions were generous, and I felt that the prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food served. Whether you’re looking for a hearty breakfast or a casual lunch, this place delivers.
However, I do have to mention that the coffee left a bit to be desired. It wasn’t bad, but it definitely wasn’t the highlight of the meal. If you’re a coffee lover, I’d recommend skipping their brew and heading to a nearby coffee shop instead for a better cup.
In summary, this restaurant is a great spot for a meal with good food, friendly service, and reasonable prices. Just don’t expect too much from the coffee, and you’ll leave satisfied. I’d definitely return for the food, but perhaps with a different coffee in hand next time!
The wait times in general (from drinks to food orders) were long (we didn’t get our meals until 35 mins after we sat down at our table). I’m ok with longer wait times if the staff communicates well and the food is decent. Neither of these things happened, however. The pancakes weren’t very good, the chicken tenders and fries were ok, the chef salad was almost inedible bc they put old very dry chicken on it, and our server barely acknowledged us. It’s clean and a good atmosphere so I was hoping for a better overall experience. Unfortunately our experience was so poor I don’t think we will be returning.
I’ve always had excellent and friendly service, even when they’re really busy. Recently they redecorated and it’s very nice. I thought it looked great before. But but they really seem to strive to provide a friendly, cleanly and inviting atmosphere.
