Established in 1950’s, The Villa Restaurant has been and continues to be the most popular family Italian American restaurant in the Boston Metro West area. The Villa’s fame comes from over fifty years of consistent quality food and generous portions at a great price along with friendly, efficient service. Great specialty items like Veal and Chicken Parmagiana have made The Villa the place to go for Italian specialties, steaks and ocean fresh seafood. Unlike many restaurants in today’s marketplace, The Villa prepares most of its entrees from scratch. We stay away from processed foods, and we use only oils that are trans fat free.
Popular Italian fixture in a no-frills space with large portions, gluten-free options & a kids menu.

First, the waitstaff was 5/5. She was warm, friendly, and attentive. However, that’s the only great thing from The Villa. She was also the only one handling 5 tables on her own as there was no other staff.
Food: 2/5
Calm chowder and fried seafood was standard, the free bread was soft. The rest of the food was super bland – no it doesn’t need any more salt, but lacked flavor and depth. Mashed potatoes tasted like it was the powder kind – that you just add water. It seemed like the meals were all delivered from a Sysco truck, and they just reheated it.
The place works if you’re in a pinch? However, there are better authentic places if you’re going to spend the money. Hostess was not attentive, and when she was passing the plates her hand was fully touching the top of the plate, so much for being sanitary.

Stopped because of the giant pizza on that side of the building, was expecting to grab a slice and go, but found a fine dinning establishment, decided to go for it and was not disappointed, high quality food friendly staff and a well balanced menu. Would return but not a regular stop for me, but others should make it. A lovely older couple came in and the hostess took them to there regular table without even thinking about it, had a great family restaurant feel on the large dinning section, but also Keno in the Quiet but very pleasant bar. Lots of regular and good quality food are a huge Green Flag, make the

First time going here. Very very happy. The bartender was great! Food was terrific! Clam chowder was some of the best I’ve had. They get their seafood from Captain Mardens, which speaks volumes! The fish and chips was next level

Everyone was very welcoming. Sat at a cozy booth in the lounge. My crown royal manhattan was delicious. The haddock fish and chip dinner was the best! Clam chowder and scallops wrapped in bacon hit the spot! The chocolate mouse cake and chocolate martini were the perfect finish. Will be back. Thank you Jen S. For your attentive service. Highly recommend.

Walked into The Villa with high hopes of a comforting Italian dinner, what I got was something out of a Kitchen Nightmares episode. Seriously, I could almost hear Gordon Ramsay yelling from the back of my mind: “It’s GREASY! It’s an INSULT to lasagna!”
Let’s start from the top — it took about 10 minutes just to be seated even though the place wasn’t slammed. Off to a slow start, literally.
The garlic bread? Not bad, actually kind of the highlight. Arancini was also decent, warm and crispy. That’s where the good news ends.
I ordered the lasagna, hoping for something hearty and delicious. What I got was a sloppy, greasy mess and worse, it was frozen in the middle. That’s right, cold on the inside like it came straight out of a microwave dinner box. I didn’t even finish half of it. Not because I was full I just couldn’t bring myself to keep eating.
The menu itself was pretty uninspiring. Definitely not “Nonna’s kitchen” Italian more like “Italian-ish” with a side of regret.
I’m giving this 2 stars because not everything was bad, but the overall experience was a letdown. Won’t be coming back. If you’re craving Italian, I’d suggest looking elsewhere to or at the very least, somewhere where the lasagna doesn’t need a defrost cycle.

Tristan is always an excellent bartender and waiter. All staff members are professional and friendly. Menu has grown over the years offering more variety and daily specials. Entertainment and audience game options are varied. Prices could be better. But overall, an excellent and reliable place to dine.

Excellent food! Service was great and watched the football game while there. HUGE chicken parm, done well and had arancini and garlic marmalade,! Half a wedge salad for both of us, great! The arancini was awesome and the bread was okay…. maybe a little too much cheese… if that’s possible? Wife had the chicken marsala, also HUGE and excellent! Enough for two more lunches (seeing as well filled up on bread, salad and an app, but would still be another lunch available)
Will definitely repeat!
