Denise and I have eaten there a couple times 3 to be exact and our experience has been nothing short of excellent. I had the blackened prime rib one night after we played there on the advice of a friendly patron at the next table and it was exquisite. Best prime I have ever had. We brought friends there last week to celebrate a birthday and retirement and Bob the manager made them feel so welcome ( I think he is from the same part in Milwaukee that Mike and Beth our friends are. They were very impressed and both belong to a Milwaukee food club. We enjoy the ambiance and the staff really go out of their way to make you feel special I never give 5 star ratings , however the Lakeside comes very close

Great Food & Great Service – been there about 10 times and have always had a great experience. The “all you can eat” ribs & shrimp special is one of my favorites. The ribs are a “10”. Nice atmosphere overlooking Phantom Lake and you can dine out on their patio overlooking the lake when weather permits.

This place was great about 4 years ago. Food was not good. I usually never take the time to write on these things. Our service was also terrible. Three tables around us had to wait 45 minutes to get there fish fry. A fish fry!!!! Funny thing is when everyone was sitting there waiting for there food, they all made the same comment. And that was how great this place used to be. What a shame. Note to the owner ask your customer how things were and tell them to be honest. You may be able to save your resturant.

Small place. But the food is good and the service has always been very friendly and attentive. It is sort of a cross between a bar in one half of the place and a fancy-ish restaurant in the other. Not so fancy that you need to dress up, but your painting shirt probably wouldn’t be appropriate. Prices are reasonable for what they give you and they have a bunch of daily specials that are good deals.

Best fish fry ever! Great prime rib on Saturdays. Tapas Tuesdays at the Villa has become the place to be on Tuesdays for awesome live guitar and accompaniment music. Cool place to meet friends and have a few drinks. Very friendly staff.

Waited over an hour for our Friday fish fries, my perch was over done and my wife’s cod was still raw in the middle. Everything took forever, 15 minutes for drinks, 30 for soup. This was my first time eating here and will be the last.

If I could give negative stars, I would. Not for pur waitress, but for the terrible management. We made reservations 2 days ago for 2/13 at 6 pm. We got there and they didn’t have us down for our reservations. Turns out, we weren’t the only ones, according to the hostess. We did get there at 5:45, so we sat at the bar and they sat us down at 6:05, with a pretty empty restaurant… we had our salad 10 minutes within sitting down. Then we got our bottle of champagne for the valentine’s day special. My fiance had to return 3 champagne glasses that were filthy dirty with finger prints and dirt. One looked like it was just used. An hour and a half later we finally got our food, which was wrong, just after we asked for the manager. She came over and was anything but kind or hospitable. After 5 minutes of talking to her, she asked if she could leave because she had other tables to attend to. Then a couple that got engaged there 20 years ago sat by us. They (restaurant) lost their reservation too. They sat at the bar for 45 minutes! We told them our story and they left immediately – smart on their part. After all the BS we went through, they were brave enough to ask for a tip (by the manager) and pay for the bottle of champagne ($30 – half drank, waiting for an hour and half for food). I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE UNTIL JIMMY TAKES IT BACK OVER!!!!! I’d love to give this a negative 4 stars for the night. Ohhh! And after we talked to the manager, her friends sitting next to our table decided to start insulting us. We told the “manager” and she denied once again. She must have thought we were complete idiots. I should have gotten her name, because as long as she works there, I will never go back, recommend to my friends, or bring my family there again! It definitely ruined our whole Valentine’s dinner date.

we ate there Sat. night . there were only three other couples in the resturant, we waited one hour for our food. we both ordered the ribeye $36.00 no salad was included it finally came it was the worse steak we have ever had. I ate half and the waiter asked if I wanted a box to take the rest home? I asked what was I suppose to do with it. I can see why there was no one in there
