My husband and I booked The View as our wedding reception venue and had the most seamless and beautiful celebration. The staff was especially helpful and shared our enthusiasm for the evening. The space itself is so beautiful, we barely needed to add decor. A perfect location to enjoy great food and beautiful sunset views while celebrating the biggest day, we would not change a single thing about our night and it’s all thanks to the people at The View!

We stopped for lunch and came back for happy hour. A very good happy hour. Everything is 20% off. Food is delicious! The Cobb salad was so fresh and huge. Tacos were yummy. The service and servers were amazing. Matt was so awesome!

What a great place to spend time enjoying dinner. We ate downstairs and outside. In addition to a really good steak, we enjoyed a beautiful sunset through the palms.
Our ribeyes were cooked to a perfect medium rare. The salads were fresh and the cocktails, well, wonderful!
We were not disappointed, and the staff was truly amazing.

What a gem!!! This is a great eatery with surprisingly good meals located in WindMark near Port St Joe. The location is divided into 2 separate themes restaurants, the upstairs (Asian themed) and downstairs (southern steak and seafood). The upstairs was closed for a private event so we dined downstairs. The drinks were tasty and a fair selection for the location. The food had a good selection and a great range of options. We opted for the ribeye for one of our meals and the crab legs for the other. They were both extremely tasty but the true treat was the oyster sampler player we had as an appetizer. All were tasty although the bacon jalapeño jam in the jammin oysters was a unique twist and pleasant surprise. I highly recommend and can’t wait to go back and check out the upstairs menu.

This place has always been a beautiful location. The new Chef KC has made some great changes, making new innovated dishes and perfecting the classics. I’m so happy as a local this new team is really turning things around. It does take time when new management takes over but they are heading in the right direction now. We ate upstairs at the View and Tyler was our server. He was knowledgeable, fast and friendly. I only got a picture of my Togo food ( Mahi Tacos) but everything we ordered was delicious!

Great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, with a supreme view!
The Ahi Poke Nachos were wonderful. The poke was light, fresh, and flavorful. The spicy aioli added a great kick, and the cabbage slaw provided a bright, crisp punch to round out a great bite.
The lobster dip was rich, creamy, and “comfort food” all around.
Can’t wait to visit the area again.

The atmosphere is fabulous, the staff is very friendly. Cocktails are fun and delicious. The bang bang gator and lobster dip we highly recommend. The spring rolls are good but you must like fresh mint. The daily catch Asian & Tropical style were both great. The husband love the today’s special prime rib with mashed potatoes. The Pad Thai needs more spice. The deserts are top notch & favorite of the table was the butter cake.

Best part about the View IS the view from the bar. The outside bar is a nice open space overlooking the water. They have recently opened and this was our first time to try it out. We ordered the Bang-Bang shrimp (good), followed by the filet / mashed potatoes / veggies (all just OK). It seems like they want to be a higher end place but seems off the mark for that. The service at the bar was OK, not great. We will try it again and maybe they’ve worked out the kinks.

We ate at this restaurant 9/20. While the service was excellent, the food was awful. My husband had blackened snapper. It was overcooked and tasteless. Very tough piece of fish. Thinking it might have been frozen and not fresh. Sent it back twice. All entrees with the exception of scallops come with mashed potatoes. The potatoes were just ok. The scallops come with risotto. The risotto was not good. Very sticky/pasty. Our server said it comes pre-packaged so she doubted the taste/texture would be any better. The scallops were good and cooked perfectly though. Not sure why a high-end restaurant wouldn’t prepare their own risotto. Oh, my husband found a price of plastic in his potatoes. Ugg. Had high hope for this place but we won’t be back.
10/24/2023 – Just read your response. While the snapper pic does not show that any was eaten, I assure you my husband did take a couple of bites. How would he have known it was tough and tasteless if he had not. I always take pics of our food when it arrives at the table and that pic was before we starting eating. He also tried the replacement which he sent back. One of your cooks came to our table and insisted on making a different version of snapper which we took home. It really wasn’t better. The fish doesn’t taste fresh. Looks good in the pic though.

Strange experience. Downstairs closed. Elevator available. Upstairs area limited. Tried to order sushi but no sushi on Tuesday. Bang Bang shrimp was awesome. Loved the house salad with sesame ginger dressing. Long Island ice tea was ok, no Jack Daniels☹️. Mac and cheese with grouper was great. Fried rice with teriyaki salmon was good. Mom enjoyed the pad Thai. Service was spotty. Family members went back on a Thursday and were unable to order quite a few things from the menu. Not sure what is up with this place.
