Everything was perfect tonight!
We arrived at the restaurant 30 minutes earlier than our reservation time but we were seated at the window table right away.
The view was great. When we were seated, we got to see the beautiful sunset and during the dinner, we were treated by the night skyscrapers.
We ordered the roasted baby beets, grilled swordfish, roasted half chicken and chocolate cake. Everything was delicious.
Our server, Yacouba, was very courteous, friendly and helpful. We felt very lucky to have him as our server.
We’ll definitely come back every time we’re in NYC.

I recently celebrated my birthday at The View, a restaurant that consistently impresses me with its exceptional service, delectable food, and breathtaking rotating views of Times Square.
Spencer, an outstanding server, made the experience from beginning to end enjoyable. Spencer was attentive, friendly, and offered great service.
One of the best parts of the evening was interacting with Albie, a stellar sommelier with an impressive career. He is genuinely friendly and his professionalism and knowledge of wine and liquor added to the overall ambiance. He even surprised us with his own limoncello mix, which was simply exquisite!
We started our meal with a complimentary champagne and a smooth Riesling. The special Caesar salad and crab cakes were a must-try appetizer. My ribeye steak was perfectly cooked, accompanied by creamy mashed potatoes, peas and carrots. My partner opted for the spicy lobster spaghetti.
For dessert, we were treated to a variety of ice creams and sorbets.
Overall, I had an amazing time at The View and highly recommend it for any special occasion or a personal treat.

Our server Ohnika was an absolute GEM! She was very attentive and kind! Ask for her – you won’t regret it! Also the food- I got the Roasted Chicken, which was FANTASTIC, and my friend got the wagyu steak and it was prepared perfectly. Also if you’re on the fence on what side to get GET THE BRUSSELS SPROUTS. Also the rosemary focaccia was so good that we got second helpings of it!
BUT HEAR ME WHEN I SAY- GET THE CHOCOLATE CAKE. It was by far the best chocolate cake I’ve ever had IN MY LIFE. I will now have to come to the View every time I visit NYC JUST for this cake.
We also ordered the brown butter chocolate chip cookie and that was also amazing.
Even though the actual view was disrupted by the blizzard, we had the best experience and it was worth every penny!

Before attending the Stranger Things brodway show we made a reservation and had dessert. Although it was expensive, $18 for a slice of chocolate cake. It was absolutely delicious with with the warm Caramel sauce And it was huge.. definitely sharable! Mom had the cheesecake it was much smaller but it was good! The view was spectacular. It was around 55 minutes to do a complete circle. Go before sunset and see both day and night. Nighttime Is really nice!! Ohh and a lady was playing the piano after sunset, she was great!!

My wife and I visited this place for her birthday, and I was genuinely surprised by how fantastic the food was—truly exceptional! The staff was very attentive; upon our arrival, she was warmly greeted with a happy birthday. The lamb chops and chicken were both delicious, with the chicken being crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, while the lamb chops were perfectly tender. The drinks were nice and strong. We will definitely return!

The View restaurant in NYC, located atop the NYC Marriott Marquis Hotel is an incredible restaurant & Bar. The food is good, the drinks are delicious, the service was great & the Views outstanding. The restaurant was recently updated, after being closed for 5 years- and looks great! Id definitely return for a bite & drinks as for the NYC skyline Views are amazing! By the way, there was a live piano player filling the room at just the right tempo to top off the evening. We definitely recommend.

Very fortunate to visit as part of a celebration dinner.
Firstly the attitude and the service of the team was absolutely excellent, so much positive energy and fun, just makes the whole experience so much more enjoyable.
Obviously the setting is pretty special – revolving restaurant on broadway is going to be, I’ve attached a time lapse video of the view one of my colleagues took while we were eating.
The food is excellent – I must say the pairing of the oysters and the wine pictured was up there for me as one the best gastronomic experiences in my life!
A real pleasure and hopefully you will enjoy it to.

The filet steak and the swordfish were the best piece of steak and fish me and my partner have ever eaten in our lives.
Our server Lea was amazing. Interested in us yet not too intrusive, she is a credit to the workplace and can see her being restaurant manager on the near future.

As a Native New Yorker, dining, seats and food were absolutely delicious, dont listen to the bad reviews about the food because even though the portions look small they are huge enough to full you up and they have so much flavor! The crab cake, seafood pasta and banana sundae were very flavorful and filling. The whole rotation experience felt really cool as you could see Manhattan and New Jersey while you eat. Seats are very comfy and the atmosphere is very welcoming where you can take your time to talk a lot without distractions or any time limits. The elevator took us very fast to get up without any dizziness or any discomfort which was amazing. Only concern is the service, the food took too long to come as we already ordered and there is only one server for 5 tables which is kinda insane. Overall, very beautiful place to celebrate a birthday and an amazing dinner with my family.

We had a small hiccup the day before Valentine’s Day, we’d made our reservation well in advance but accidentally booked the lounge instead of the restaurant. Apparently, the staff told us this happens fairly often. It might be helpful for the restaurant to consider adjusting the layout of the reservation page to make the distinction between the lounge and dining room clearer.
That said, the staff was absolutely amazing. They kindly added our name to the restaurant list and were able to work us in for dinner, which we truly appreciated. While we waited, we enjoyed sliders, fries, and drinks in the lounge, and they even allowed us to bring everything down to the restaurant once our table was ready.
For dinner, we had the lamb along with more drinks, and everything was delicious. The view was incredible, of course, and the restaurant’s rotation moves at a comfortable pace, giving you plenty of time to take it all in.
We will definitely return the next time we’re in town!
