Reviews
We arrived, and the restaurant was not busy at all — maybe 3 tables occupied. One young woman barely acknowledged our presence when we asked if we could sit outside. Literally, we don’t know if she said more than the word “yes.” We sat outside, wondering if anyone would know we were here. She came back with menus; again, not saying anything. Then a young gentleman came by to take our order, and we don’t think he said anything except maybe the word “order?”
Our food came quickly: first, the papaya salad, which was really fresh. The larb lettuce wraps with chicken were delivered quickly thereafter, and it was quite flavorful and a nice size for an appetizer. We then shared the Hawaiian pineapple curry with chicken, which was solid, but not much pineapple in it.
By this point, a different employee started interacting with us, and he was really nice. Without hesitation, he said to order the mango sticky rice as it’s the best in the world. He was right as it was the best we’ve ever tasted before (and we’ve had it at other places)!
We would definitely dine here again despite the service quirks, and we would make sure we always saved room for the mango sticky rice.
Bill came to $92 before tip.
