Equal parts sports bar, cocktail lounge, and elevated tavern, The Victor is where game day meets date night. With locations in Seattle and Edmonds, it serves up scratch-made burgers, bold cocktails, and weekend brunch in a sleek, modern space with all the right energy.
Chic, streamlined eatery serving classic salads, burgers & desserts, plus cocktails & happy hours.

I enjoyed the food here, but I came here with coworkers and it was so loud here that we had to yell the whole time even to hear people right across the table. This is a big pet peeve if mine so I may rate this lower than others would.
I tried a lot of the appetizers. But I really enjoyed the fried polenta and the roasted carrots and squash with yogurt and for honey.
I had the jalapeno business burger with a veggie (jackfruit) patty. It was delicious. I got the side of butternut squash soup rather than fries. It had an excellent spiced flavor.
I also had a bite of the salmon and it was well cooked–though nothing unique.

1) pretzel was good. 2)Burger was cold and not much taste, missing something like salt. 3) fish and chip was hot, looks good but also no taste; coleslaw felt slimy; tartar sauce has too much lemon.

Had a great time at The Victor Tavern! My beer came with a little foam heart which matched the heart that our cute bartender Penelope put into her work. You could tell she is new but she was confident and so genuine it really made the experience special and praiseworthy. I really liked how comfortable the setting was it seems like you can dress up or down which is nice for all occasions. Planned or unplanned.

Nut allergy friendly: Everything I had was good! There aren’t too many dishes with nuts, if at all. Maybe desserts.
We walked over from Seattle Convention Center and showed up at 8:40PM on a Sunday with a group of 7 with no reservation and were seated relatively quickly at a long table that easily fit us. Enjoyed a drink on the all-day Sunday happy hour before the $9-after-9PM even better happy hour hit.
I ordered a Truffle Burger (4.5/5) and tried my friend’s French Dip (4.5/5). The late night menu is the same size as the standard (or so we were told). For $9, the value here is crazy. Maybe one of the best late-night (well, late-dinner really) options in the area.
We did 3 orders of Happy Hour Fries and one order of calamari for the 7 of us. Quality here varied – the first two orders were okay, but the last one came out fresh, hot, and perfectly crispy. Maybe they turned the fryers back on just for us…
Paid via inKind with only one minor issue (had to get some corrections because of the happy hour shift). Overall, stellar late night option for the value that I’d definitely return to after a long convention day.

Food was ok, but expected more for the price, and the place didn’t make up for the lack of quality of the food.
Why are they adding 20% gratuity? The service wasn’t 20% worth. When you add the tip upfront, waiting staff has no motivation to do a great service.
Just add the 20% on the cost of the food and you don’t have to provide any explanations, or stamp the receipt indicating that the tip has been added. I always tip 20%, but knowing that the service does not go directly to the server then I avoid going to those restaurants.

One of the main reasons I enjoyed my meal at Victor‘s Tavern was my server Holly at the bar. I was by myself at the bar and she was friendly when I wanted conversation, but not intrusive in the slightest. My chopped salad was delicious, but as a visitor to Seattle, i especially appreciated having some Washington State wines by the glass available on the menu. Thanks, Holly, for an enjoyable experience.

The smash burgers here were amazing and so was the service. The server told us when we entered that the service fee is already included in the bill, which may be different to most out of towners, which I appreciated.

all the staff was so sweet and helpful. food was great and my burger was very juicy. also there is a 20% service fee included but I’m not sure why people have a problem with this. they’d be tipping that much anyway right? I asked the manager how it works and it sounds like everyone is taken care of and has health care. I left them an extra $10 on top and that gets split between everybody.

We had a very good meal. I would rate higher, but I question the value, given the food prices, service charge, and method of calculating tax. Unlike most places, a 20% service charge is automatically added and THEN the tax is calculated on the combined food/beverage/service total. That unconventional approach makes the tax bill higher for customers. For us the total tab was $92 for a salad, fish sandwich with fries, one beer, and one glass of wine. Granted, this is Seattle, but really?

The food was delicious and well prepared, generous portions and great flavors. The staff were friendly and attentive. We did not have a long wait at all. Even on a busy evening, we were seated quickly and our orders arrived fast. Highly recommend!
