Good experience on both occasions I have been here. Quick and friendly service, is open till late. Easy to make reservations or walk in. The atmosphere is fun but a bit loud to carry out conversations. Decent vegetarian options and delicious cocktails.

We recently relocated to the area from NYC. And to be honest, we are having some big city withdrawal. And no, SF is not a real city. But surprise surprise, on our date night in Campbell, we discovered a bar that makes us feel like we’re right back in midtown Manhattan. I want to say thank you to Jimmy for being the coolest bartender who made us feel right at home. This was just a perfect night and we look forward to coming back many times to come.

First things first – the Manhattan was excellent! Unfortunately, everything else was subpar. The ruffles with Lipton onion soup and sour cream dip for $7 was good, but easily made at home for a fraction of the price. I liked the tomato bisque, but was a bit too close to pizza sauce. The meatballs were mediocre, although the chipotle sauce was good. That brings us to the Korean BBQ ribs – run, do not walk to the exit. Tough, dry as a bone, acidic – nothing Korean about these ribs. At first I was pleased to see 4 ribs instead of the 3 stated on the menu. Not really a good thing as we left two behind. Finally, the beer selection is terrible. Can’t blame Vesper as they didn’t brew them, but they did select them. Bottom line – go for the manhattan (or other cocktail) and skip everything else!

A great place to relax and have fun with your friends. Cozy, elegant, small plates, and special drinks. Highly recommend it!

Pretty nice place. Lovely vibe and ambience, has a lounge like feel with a nice bar area and some good cocktails which my colleagues really liked. Would definitely recommend a stop in here especially for a cozy drink.
They have a pretty good happy hour for drinks.
I was not otherwise impressed with the food, which was presented well, however the flatbread was salty and other items not memorable (had the warm nuts, deviled eggs and hummus).
I think the highlights were the attentive staff and the alcoholic drinks. I would stop by again for sure!

Very mediocre bar honestly not sure why this place keeps popping up as one of the “best bars” in Campbell.

The food menu is quite disappointing. We ordered chips and they came straight from a bag — not made in house, not warm, and nothing special.

Service was the biggest letdown. Our waitress was unfriendly from the start. I asked a simple question about a cocktail, but she was very hard to hear due to the loud music and background noise. She didn’t really try to clarify or engage, which made the interaction feel cold and unwelcoming.

Overall, the vibe didn’t live up to the hype. Service was poor, drinks were forgettable, and food felt like an afterthought. Not a place I’d recommend, and unfortunately not somewhere I’d return to.

Absolutely amazing service and delicious cocktails. I particularly enjoyed my mocktails that were absolutely divine. Ended up getting two of the same alcohol-less drinks — the Josie. Highly recommend! The service was excellent too.

The atmosphere at The Vesper is so great. It gives a bit of red velvet speakeasy vibe. It’s intimate but also quite stuffy and hot in there. The service is slow but friendly. The food tastes great. Loved the white bean dip and the cocktails are pricey but taste great!

This place is the best for a Friday night drink after work. The appetizers on happy hour were delicious! And they accommodated for gluten free. The best part were the drinks. I kept getting the city drink- the one topped with wine- and will be back for this again.
Vesper is a great spot but expect crowds and loud acoustics. Not the place for an intimate dinner but better for a Friday night out.

Made a last minute reservation on Saturday night around 8pm. We arrived early, and luckily, there was one open outdoor table available. Service was great. The food and drinks including the water refill came to our table with very good timing at this busy restaurant! We had the Heirloom Tomato Salad — tomatoes with balsamic, burrata, and melon — was a great way to start the meal. The mussel toast was AMAZING !!! That’s a seafood lover’s dream! The Baby Back Pork Ribs with Mongolian sauce was really tasty and tender, and the touch of sesame seed in the cole slaw made it very unique. And my Elderflower mocktail was refreshing and enjoyable.
