We’ve been here a few times and it’s always delicious! They offer matcha (even though it’s not on the big menu), and the iced one we had was really good. We’ve also tried their lattes and frappes, everything has been consistently tasty. This time, we finally tried the donuts, and they did not disappoint! Super fresh and flavorful. The only thing I wish is that you could mix the donut flavors a bit more, right now it’s one flavor per 6 donuts. That said, the staff is always helpful and happy to answer any questions about the menu. Great spot all around!

Velvet is hands down the best place to get coffee in Brevard. It truly is the ONLY good coffee in town!!! The owners Nick and Kim are so wonderful, and Dev the manager makes my day so much brighter with his cute smile!!!!! I was served by Bree the other day, and literally thought I already knew her because of how friendly and warm she was!!! If you go, you need to get either the Nick or Kim special, and get the Dev special for donuts!!!

This morning, I stopped by Velvet Revolver in Brevard to treat myself to a $6–7 drink. It wasn’t sweet, so I asked for a little sugar. The barista gave me a look, grabbed a bottle of simple syrup (I actually prefer raw sugar), and while pouring it in said, “Next time you need to ask for sugar when you order.”

I told her that her tone was a little too much and came off as rude. She responded, “Oh yes, I’m sorry,” but then explained that because of my request, she had to stop what she was doing — meaning preparing the next order. I suggested simply leaving sugar out for customers, and she snapped back that since COVID, they don’t serve sugar. So… they don’t offer sugar because of COVID, but it’s perfectly fine for her to hold and pour a syrup bottle by hand? I pointed out that it’s been five years since COVID-19, and that excuse no longer holds up. They could easily offer paper sachets like many other places.

The worst part was when the customer next to me chimed in with, “Oh, let’s just get over it,” implying that I should drop it. The barista then started apologizing to that customer, so I said, “I’m the one who should be getting the apology.” Instead, she called me entitled for asking for sugar — when, frankly, she was the one who acted entitled.

Are we so used to bad service that we’ve become immune to it, not even noticing when we’re being treated poorly — even while paying premium prices for a simple drink? That’s what it felt like.

I’m surely never returning to Velvet Revolver, and here goes my one-star review. When there’s a bad driver, they’re sent to driving school; maybe it’s time for some real customer service training for the people working the front of house here.

I can’t believe I just inhaled six mini donuts, they’re amazing! The Nutter Butter latte is good as well with a medium level sweetness, I would definitely recommend to swing by and get some yummy sweet treats.

Whaaattt a travel truck that has coffee. A damn good selection too. It’s perfectly located just before you hit the mountain range. Knowing I might be going hiking I was very excited to see she had a protein shake that she puts espresso in! It’s so good! The owner was super cool too. Been here next to The Hub for three years and seems to have favorites of customers coming in. I love her support of local milk too. Supporting the local community is always a plus in my mind!

Ordered the mini donuts: cinnamon and sugar. The donuts were warm and so soft that they melt in the mouth. We took 1/2 dozen at first but went back again for more 1/2 dozen.
The regular coffee was also good.
