I had a fantastic time celebrating my 60th Birthday Brunch at The Union Kitchen! The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The service, however, truly stood out as top-notch.
Jenna and Alysia were amazing servers. They were professional, patient, and attentive throughout the entire event. For a party of 20 guests, there were no delays in getting our food out, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
I would highly recommend dining at this location. A special thank you to Ms. Dana, our host, who made sure everything went smoothly and it certainly did! It was a memorable and well-coordinated celebration from start to finish.

We had a fantastic experience at The Union Kitchen. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely committed to making sure everyone in our party enjoyed their visit. The food was slow coming out, but fresh, and full of flavor. Every dish arrived beautifully presented and tasted even better than it looked.
The service was a bit slow, but the portions were generous, making the overall vibe feel special without being overly formal. I left feeling satisfied and excited to return on a bit so busy day.

This was such an amazing experience from start to finish! The food was not only delicious but also very reasonably priced for the quality and portion sizes. Everything came out fresh and flavorful. The staff makes the visit worth wild. Veronica and Maurice did an incredible job as our servers, they were attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without us ever having to ask. Their positive energy really made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We got a bunch of different stuff on their menu. I love how much diversity they have, but sometimes I think that can hinder a restaurant. The food was good, not great, but the service was AWESOME. They have a nice covered outdoor area with fans, and the inside of the restaurant has sections, so anywhere you sit feels quiet and private.

Thank you Maurice and Brett for most excellent service! We absolutely loved the Miller’s meatloaf and the Spring salad. The potato soup was amazing.Your Michelada and Bloody Mary cocktails were perfect. So much so we’re back this Tuesday night celebrating Mardi Gras. Steven took great care of us .We ordered the chicken fried steak and the Greek wrap. Steven’s recommendation of the Butternut Squash, sausage and mushroom soup was to die for! Love you guys! I felt unwelcome from the moment I walked in, but I initially brushed it off, thinking the staff might just be busy. However, the experience quickly became uncomfortable. The host repeatedly pressured us to order alcohol and kept asking for our order before we even had a chance to look at the menu. Since we don’t drink, we ordered a mocktail. To be honest, the food and drinks were average, but I am leaving this review specifically regarding the service and how we were treated as guests.
Our host interrupted our conversation every five minutes, and the moment they realized we had finished eating, they made it very obvious they wanted us to leave. We were certainly not the last customers in the restaurant. I could overlook the loud cleaning of nearby tables, but having another staff member strike the host stand right next to us to get our attention and make us feel unwelcome was flat out rude.
What should have been an enjoyable weekend dinner with friends ended on a sour note because we were made to feel like a nuisance. I am aware this place has many locals and regulars—we are locals ourselves. I also understand that as a business, selling alcohol is more profitable. However, does not being a “regular” or a “drinker” justify being treated with such disrespect? I have visited many restaurants in this neighborhood, but I have never been treated this way. I am leaving this review because this was a first for me, and not in a good way.

Wait staff was amazingly friendly. Eggs benedict was one of the best I’ve had in awhile. Business partner had the “hot mess” and said it was excellent. Indoor and outdoor seating so you can take advantage of a beautiful day.

Came to this place on a Saturday afternoon and was super satisfied with my experience here. The food was very tasty , we ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp, Sarah’s Avocado sandwich , and the NY strip steak. The atmosphere was amazing, perfect temperature to beat out this Houston heat , and the place was very clean and organized. Our server was very timely and friendly . I would highly recommend coming here and will be back soon.
