What really sets Union Diner apart is the service. The staff is unbelievably friendly, attentive, and always fast. You never sit waiting, and everyone makes you feel like a regular, even if it’s your first time. It’s the kind of warm, reliable spot you can count on for great food and even better people.
Highly recommend to anyone looking for a truly welcoming, reliable place to eat in Endicott!
Other members of my family ordered the hamburger deluxe, a chicken finger basket, and a chicken gyro. The chicken fingers were also nicely crispy, and the chicken gyro was grilled well and cut lengthwise, which made it easy to eat.
The service was excellent—drink refills came before we even had to ask, and the food arrived right on time. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. I really enjoy coming here; the prices are comparable to fast food, but the quality and options are much better. Highly recommended.
The menu is a testament to traditional American comfort food done exceptionally well. Every dish we sampled showcased impeccable preparation and quality ingredients; from the perfectly crisped golden fries to the hearty, flavorful entrees, the food here resonates with a genuine passion for excellence. The kitchen carries a legacy of classic flavors, reinterpreted with an innovative yet respectful nod to the past.
One of the highlights of our experience was the dessert case—a veritable treasure trove of sweet delights. Each dessert sparkled with creativity and precision, offering everything from velvety cakes to nostalgic pies. The care that goes into the crafting of these treats is evident in every bite, making the dessert selection a must-try for any gourmand.
No review of Union Diner would be complete without a special mention of Elle, a server whose exceptional service truly elevated our visit. Her attentive nature, impeccable timing, and friendly demeanor not only enhanced our dining experience but also exemplified the high standards of hospitality that define the diner. Elle’s contribution to our visit was both refreshing and memorable, affirming that excellent service remains at the heart of a remarkable dining experience.

Then I had the Reuben sandwich, which had a great taste. It came with French fries.
They had good music playing.
If you’re in the mood for good food at good prices, give the Union diner a try.
This time around our server only brought me half my meal…and I had to ask for the other half. When she came back with only part of it I gave up and said goodbye to my sausage links.
I also got a slice of cheesecake to go. As you can see it is a very generous slice, but again, doesn’t taste that good. My 9 and 6 year old wouldnt eat it either.
The only thing this place is doing correctly are the prices.. but honestly the food is simply bad.
