The Union Bar and Grill was established in 1928. We have several awards for our food and drink and have the best bourbon selection around. We have live bands on our patio in the summer. We have a party room that can be rented for private events. You will feel right at home at this corner bar here in Gering.

I had The Deuce, a half pound burger with bacon, jalapeño crunch, Swiss and pepper jack cheese… it was AMAZING!! The burger was char grilled, cooked a perfect medium, and was absolutely delicious.
The fries were seasoned well and the staff was friendly and fast (even with a full bar!). If I come through Gering again, this will be where I eat and have a couple drinks.

Have visited this location a few times in the past for some drinks and once for food. Decided to order some food again with some friends. Got the BBQ wings and they were good. Interested in trying out some of the other menu options myself.
Called in our order and I’m guessing it was busy as the lady on the phone wasn’t the most patient/nice. However when picking up the order she was very kind and helpful. I know they have a dollar burger night that I’d like to attend some night. Parking here is limited and the location is kind of cramped inside but has a nice cozy vibe.

Our server was so kind, knowledgeable, and made us feel welcome. My husband had the Tuesday special which was a triple cheeseburger and sweet potato fries that he thoroughly enjoyed. I chose to take the server’s suggestion and had the Piggy bowl. It is Mac and cheese tipped with pulled pork, jalapeño chips, and BBQ sauce. It was fantastic!! The bar was clean, there was great music playing in the background, and the table set up was simple and comfortable. We will definitely be going back!

If you’re into dive bars, this is your place. Spent time with a great mix of travelers and locals. The vibe was cool. Loved the trombones hanging from the ceiling, especially the one that was inexplicably flattened paper-thin. The bartenders were friendly and the beer was cold. Great spot.

We are traveling tourists and spending the night in Gerin Ne made tis place our choice for refreshments this evening. We hit it right out of the park by getting lucky and having Angies as our server. She was professional helpful funny accommodating and patient. Choices for beverages are plentiful the bar food is good and the staff is over the top good
