I had a great experience here at The Twisted Pig. I am visiting in the area & just started looking at different restaurants. I’m glad this came up in my search. We were greeted with a warm welcome as soon as we walked through the door. The food was really good….I especially enjoyed the collard greens & hush puppies. In all honesty, it would be hard to find anything bad. We chose the buffet and liked everything we ate. If you’re in the area, then you will not regret coming to this restaurant.

We had family in from out of state (NC & GA). One of them found this place. It was awesome! There were ten of us, but we were seated with no problem. Several of us had the buffet, while the others tried the brisket, burgers, catfish, and the twisted potato. Everything was great! For myself, the collards were the some of the best that I have ever eaten. The owner was super friendly. We will be back!

We tried to eat lunch today for the first time only to realize that the sign was more impressive than the selections! The place was almost as empty as the 2 small bars were to eat from, if you weren’t ordering from the menu. What was there looked old and dry. We were, however, reassured that fresh macaroni was on the way. HOWEVER, that wasn’t all that needed refreshing! My opinion, but we’re not going back. Do better with people’s money.

This was our first time going and the food did not disappoint. It was amazing. The pulled pork/chopped BBQ was mouth watering. My fried chicken breast was very tender and juicy and completely cooked. (Most places they are either dried out or pink /raw in the center) Their country style cooking veggies are so delicious, and the Cowboy (baked) Beans, oh my goodness; you have to try them. The hush puppies are also worth taking home. AND, the service was great, just as good as the food. The staff was very friendly, polite, and helpful. There was so much food on the bar that I couldn’t try it all so I will DEFINITELY be going back. The food, the staff, and the price get a big thumbs up from me.
