We had an amazing experience at Twisted Crab, and our server Christian made it even better! He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed the entire time. His energy as great, he checked on us often without being overbearing, and he made sure our food and drinks came out right. Customer service like that really stands out. If you go, definitely ask for Christian he helped make our visit enjoyable! We’ll definitely be back!

We have to give a huge shout out to my daughters friends Heaven tell us to come try twisted crab there are so many places to eat and with 4 locations in the area!! This was definitely the right choice. We sat at the open bar and when we sat down John our server came over and immediately wiped everything gave us some menus. He asked if we wanted to get started on drinks, it being my first time he gave us some of popular drinks. We ordered wings and then ordered the F1 which was a Shareable!! Everything was hot I mean after eating my third wing it was still hot!! It was definitely worth the 25 minute drive and so worth it.

My family and I had an amazing experience at The Twisted Crab! From the moment we were seated, our server Chynna made the evening absolutely perfect. She greeted us with such a warm smile and genuine energy that immediately set the tone for a great meal. Throughout the night, Chynna was attentive without being overbearing — always checking in at the right time, keeping our drinks full, and making sure we had everything we needed.
She explained the menu in detail, offered great recommendations, and made sure our food came out hot and fresh. You could tell she really cared about providing excellent service, which made the whole dining experience even better. The food itself was delicious — the seafood was seasoned perfectly and everything was cooked just right — but what truly stood out was the top-notch service.
It’s rare these days to find someone who combines professionalism with such a friendly personality, but Chynna absolutely nailed it. We left full, happy, and already talking about coming back soon. If you visit The Twisted Crab, definitely ask for Chynna — she’ll take great care of you!

Saturday night, not that busy. Seated immediately. At least 5 minutes before we saw a server. Drinks took another 5 minutes to materialize. Then another wait to place our order. Appetizer cheese sticks came out right away, but the entree… all we got to eat were excuses. We left after waiting 46 minutes past the appetizer for our entree. Server came by and said the kitchen was bagging our food, then a 10 minute wait to be told that the kitchen was still bagging our food. Commented to our server, who apologized and said the broccoli was the hold up. He said the manager would be bringing our food, set a 5 minute timer, and when the manager didn’t show in that time we left. Would give zero stars if that was an option. Saw a couple come in after us, who got their food quickly.

I came to eat this past Friday and chose to have a seat at the bar and it was the best decision! Kaylee was the bartender and she is absolutely amazing. Very polite and made sure my entire experience was worth it and knew a lot about the menu because this was my first time at twisted crab. Because of her I will 100% be back to this location. Her service is amazing and makes you feel comfortable the whole visit. Thank you to Kaylee. I will be back and will bring the family next visit!!!!!

This review is based on everything. We have visited A lot of seafood restaurants in the Hampton Roads area and when I say we drive to Chesapeake to come here. Our party of 13 recently dined here, and from the moment we walked in, the service was absolutely outstanding from the hostess(s) to our server Heaven. Even with such a large group and five separate tabs, everything ran smoothly and efficiently. We were impressed by how attentive and friendly our new server was—she handled our entire table like a pro, making sure every drink, meal, and request was taken care of with a smile.
The food was delicious! With this being our second time here The seafood boil bags were flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The $89 platter was the best part for my family —packed with generous portions that were well worth every penny. Even the kids’ meals were tasty and came out quickly, which made the evening even more enjoyable for the families.
We also ordered a variety of alcoholic drinks, and each one was crafted well and served promptly. It’s rare to find a place that balances excellent food and top-notch service so seamlessly, especially with a big group.
We left full, happy, and extremely impressed. This restaurant definitely deserves all five stars, and we can’t wait to come back again.
