First time here and holy heck the food was so amazing. Got the wings so perfectly cooked, burger was the best I’ve had in years and swordfish tacos my husband devoured. Whalers Rise on tap and the work wife cocktail so delish! It’s my first time out in forever and I’m now obsessed with this place. The lighting is perfect. Music is so fun. Was bopping around to it all night. Laura our server was so good I wanted to steal her for my restaurant I manage. She’s the best, order was repeated back, fast with our beverages and the food runners were awesome as well as the host.! Definitely coming here again! This is our new favorite spot. The manager Paul came and checked on us and he was so delightful and kind! We are definitely so happy to be here. The staff here is unbeatable.

The Trap East Greenwich is a real gem! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and you instantly feel part of the family. I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Trap on a Wednesday night for their famous “Wing-It Wednesday” special, and I have to say, it was one of the best bar experiences I’ve had in a long time!
First off, the wings are truly amazing. You can get two pounds for the price of one with a beverage purchase, and the quality is outstanding. We tried the Gochujang and the Honey Hot flavors, and both were cooked perfectly—crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. The portion sizes are generous, so bring an appetite!
The drinks were also fantastic. The menu has a great selection of local craft beers and creative cocktails.
The highlight of the evening, however, was the service from our bartenders, Rob and Zack. These guys are absolute professionals. Despite the bar being busy, they were attentive, friendly, and kept the good vibes going all night. Their energy and efficient service made us feel right at home. It’s rare to find bartenders who are so well-endowed with personality and skill!
The atmosphere at The Trap is exactly what you want from a neighborhood spot: lively, friendly, with great music and a fun crowd. Whether you sit inside or on their lovely patio, you’re guaranteed a good time.

We are always seated quickly when we arrive which is great. They have outdoor and indoor options. The outdoor area is really nice with umbrellas for shade, fire pit, and an outdoor bar! They also have lawn games which is nice. It’s a great place to hang out with some friends for a couple of drinks.
I always order the same things which is the Work Wife drink and Cajun Swordfish as my entree. Except on Monday pasta night – my favorite is the Penne alla Vodka. The staff is always pleasant and attentive.

Fun spot with good food that is always fast and consistent. Service is always great. We’ve had Liz as our server multiple times and she is just fantastic. She remembers us every time we come in and always makes it a point to say hi. Definitely recommend this spot for a casual dinner (family friendly) or to watch the game!

Our visit, as usual was excellent. 5 stars for Angie! 1 star for the hostess. Our server Angie was friendly, knowledgeable and on time with her service! However, hostess could use a few lessons in friendly demeanor, she could benefit from learning that people might like to smell the food in the establishment and not her perfume, that was disappointing. At least 10 meals walked out when no hostess was in sight. Bartender was great as well, jumping in when the servers needed him. Clearly he gets how a restaurant should work well.
