The Town Pump

  4.9 – 37 reviews   • Bar & grill

The Town Pump was purchased in 2005 by a couple of guys, Ian & Brian, who met at WSU. They started a painting business to save money when they got out of college, then bought the White Buffalo in Everett in 1995. With their wives and children by their sides, they have grown over the past 27 years to own three bars, adding the Twin Foxes in Everett in 2015. The Town Pump itself was built in 1903 starting as a gas station with a store front, with the owners living in the home attached. It became a Tavern sometime in 1960’s or 1970’s – nobody has figured it out for sure, but hopefully more will be learned over time. We are a neighborhood bar, bearing all walks of life ages 21-101, all colors, beliefs, creeds-and we all just get along.

Fun place. It’s like the whole neighborhood came inside to hang out. Everyone knows your name kind of place. And the pizza was over the top fantastic – super tasty, tons of toppings. We’ll definitely come back when we’re in the neighborhood.

First time stopping here after passing it by for the last 6 years. I will say it is a very welcoming and happening spot! Staff was friendly and outgoing. Molly was our bartender and she did an outstanding job in making my wife and I feel at home. The food was great and the drinks where even better. HIGHLY RECOMMEND to try atleast once. Will definitely be coming by again when in town.

Everybody’s a Local at the Town Pub. Word is, their pull tabs are frequently rotated; very popular. Food is far beyond pub fare, definitely 5 stars. Beer is fresh and delicious, and yes, the bartenders are attractive, friendly and engaging. This was our first time, but we’ll be back!

It’s like your place with friends and friends who you have not met yet. Food is great, staff is wonderful, atmosphere is local, home-ish. No matter where you are from, you can fit in here. Thanks to Molly, Megan, Becca, Holden and Austin ( if I missed someone I’m sorry) Enjoy life!

The Town Pump reminds me of pubs i used to visit in Dublin Ireland. It’s a community living room filled with kind people settling in after a days work to connect and have a few laughs. Strongly suggest the chicken wings (best in Skagit) and the Big Jeff Sandwhich. Bartenders are awesome!
