My first time at The Tower and was told they have “great bar food” and I couldn’t agree more. The taco salad was excellent, not greasy or watery as they often are at Mexican restaurants. The shell was crunchy and fresh, perfectly spiced taco meat, fresh and crisp lettuce, cheese, tomatoes and jalapeños. The rest of the table had boneless wings and onion rings which were also excellent. Service was a bit slow but they were busy and bars are know for slower food service so you drink more. I will definitely return and love that they’re open late.

Love love love this place, my friend and I normally go once a week. At least we have our favorite server. Her name is Suzanne! Also Colleen, she is wonderful as well. The food is always good and the service is always spot on. Love this place! Would recommend it to anyone! It reminds me of. Cheers atmosphere. Love it

I have a tendency to order multiple things from the menu and only eating a little bit so I can try a whole bunch & boy am I grateful. The wings were excellent. I suggest the strawberry habanero but I also got the sweet heat. My sister was with me and she just loved the cheeseburger, so did I. The steak street tacos were fabulous. Tons of flavor & a nice portion. The clientele was so fun. Dana corporation is right across the street so I assume they get plenty of business from them but in general the people were such a pleasure and joy to be around. Kind of reminded me of a hometown bar feel. Cheers!

For starters, I’m not really a bar type of person, but we stopped in since nothing else was open and decided to try the food. We got there about 15 minutes before the grill closed, but our order came out quickly—within 10 minutes. We had a burger with fries, fried mushrooms, and wings, and everything was great. The service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was surprisingly calm and quiet for a bar. The crowd was mixed, nothing loud or rowdy. Overall, it was a really good experience—I’d definitely come back for the food.

I’d like to start off by saying I liked a lot about the Tower. I walked in and immediately got a seat at one of the bars. I was greeted instantly by the friendly bartenders who had a drink in my hands in less than 60 seconds. I ordered my food and had it sitting in front of me in 7 minutes. The fries came recommended by my bartender and they were awesome! They were piping hot and extra crispy outside and soft and fluffy in the middle just the way fries should be!
I’d always heard that Tower has some of the best wings in Fort Wayne. When I sat down I already knew what I was going to order. When the wings came out, they were lukewarm. They didn’t have any texture or crutch when I bit into them. I ordered them extra wet and the kitchen delivered them drowned in sauce. This was the saving grace because the meat in the wings was dry. This alone is what prevented me from awarding a 5th star. I suspect the wings may have already been cooked ahead of time and then tossed in the sauce after the fries were done cooking. I don’t know this for certain, however it might explain how the wings could be served so fast.
All that being said, I’ll happily return to the Tower if invited. Based on my experience though, i probably won’t be ordering the wings again. If you’re looking for a drink spot and like to play some pull tabs then I’d definitely recommend Tower Bar and grill. However, if you’re looking for awesome wings and larger TVs to watch a sports event, then there are definitely other places I’d go instead.

A very simple and genuine place to come and get a bite to eat or to wet your throat. Rated as one of the best places in the state to get wings, 4000 lbs per week, h/t get the strips as they are still part of the bird and will save on the wallet fellers and fellets. The place is busy with my server (19 years in, that’s a solid sign) and others that enjoy helping us the clients. Was going for the wings, but opted for the nightly special, 2 sliders with caramelized onions and cheese. Very well done! 5* for sure. I’ll definitely drift this way again.

Service is fast if you go inside to eat or order but if you try to get them on the phone to place an order it can be a challenge. I know they are busy with the customers inside but you still need to answer the phone to your other customers, our money spends the same way. Maybe management can set something up for online orders, this would help staff and customers.
