Tin Cup has remained my favorite restaurant in Arlington for over 2 decades. Their food and teas are just as scrumptious and fresh, wonderfully inclusive and comfortable environment, adorable decor and incredibly attentive staff. The owners are kind and their menu is unmatched for delicious sandwiches, salads, soups and treats. They have a house peach ginger tea and blueberry tea that my sister and I crave constantly. My favorite thing on the menu is the California Gold with a Greek Salad. My sister always the Wyatt’s Veggie with a cup of tuna, so yum! I seriously recommend this place for lunch with the gals, a quick and quality meal with work mates, romantic date night, casual kids brunch, you name it! We LOVE Tin Cup and all they have to offer!

This delightful cafe is a joy to experience. It is very clean, bright, pleasing decor and has freshly prepared delicious food. I had the chicken salad on salad, cup of potato soup. It impressed me that they use fresh, crisp romaine lettuce vs bagged salad greens which I really appreciated!! Meal came with crackers and a small chocolate chip cookie. There is a large variety of various iced teas which are also very refreshing. I will definitely go back soon!

This is the highest review I’ve left. One of the best lunch spots in Arlington Texas BY FAR. I go here every week. Food is spectacular, I recommend the John Wayne. Service is great and the owner is even better. The atmosphere is small but still comfortable. Everyone must try, it’s the best.

First time visiting was great.
The owner Damon provided some recommendations and was really welcoming and helpful. The staff is friendly, and the ambience felt cozy. The line was busy for lunch hour, but the food came out quick and the John Wayne panini was delicious!

Don’t be fooled by The humble exterior. This small mom-and-pop has good sandwiches. As soon as I walked in the door it smelled clean and everything was neat and tidy. My sandwich was hot and fresh. The little stick fries served on the side remind me of Andy Capps. A nice Change-Up to regular old potato chips. I like the old timey nostalgia decorations. There’s plenty of seating. And the prices are decent. I give a 9 out of 10 Stars. I subtract only one star because when I came in the guy did not welcome me, but when he did take my order he was friendly. I’m interested in trying their other specialty sandwiches especially the ones with some type of caramel on. I believe mine was called the Sundance. It came with a cup of onion soup which was probably an Au Ju to dip the sandwich in. Delish! I wish it were a little bigger.

***Update: Came back and has the same person as last time. This time had a much better experience and our whole family was taken care of.

Great food, not so great service. We plan to come visit again to give them another chance. For the time being, 3 stars for me for the lack of service.

Food:
Delicious! I ordered a High Noon and my wife ordered a half and half with their salad and a John Wayne. Their food did not disappoint – a bit pricy, but the food was solid and was just right. I loved the tiny fries (Pik Nik) which were a great addition to the meals.

Service:
We came for lunch, and the place was packed. They had a line as soon as we walked into the restaurant. The staff, and more specifically a gentleman who seemed to be the manager/owner, was very attentive to every customer, except us. He small talked all the customers in line except us (me, my wife, two boys). He took orders in the line and saved seats for other customers, except us. When we were seated and waiting for the food, he spoke with every table around except ours. When the food came out, there were no napkins; I saw him drop off napkins at two other tables (and you can probably guess it) except ours.

At that point, I was done observing and chose to enjoy our meal. I thoroughly enjoyed the panini’s, and they’re good enough that we’d come back for the food. We’ll be observing to see if we have the same experience with service and give an update then.
