I am pregnant and we were hungry, despite all that wait the food arrived and as we were hungry we just started eating.. midway through my dish (raw chicken, asked for cooking it a little more, came back within 2 mins as if just reheated in microwave) I realized there was hair in my dish, my husband picked it up and showed it to the server she dismissed and got on with her business.. after making us wait another 15-20 mins, they updated the receipt to a 10% discount. Seriously? A hair in your dish and you compensate with a 10% discount? I had no trouble paying the full amount just to be done with this turmoil of a dinner.. even their body language and attitude was so unprofessional…
Thai cuisine is our fav, but unfortunately Siam square does not hold up to the standards and their chicken is always smelly and disgusting as if it’s months old..
We had one appetizer, the Chicken Larg which was amazing and the Red Curry. The gradients in spice levels are tangible, unlike many other restaurants, so even the medium gave us a nice heat. We’re regulars and this is an updated review for the new location. Definitely a top choice even though several Thai options in A2 are not in business any longer in 2025.
We got the following:
– Siam Square Sampler
– Papaya Salad
– Tom Yum Soup (Lg to share) with seafood
– Pad Thai (Thai version) with seafood
– Green Curry with chicken
– Spicy Eggplant with Basil with seafood
Tom yum hit the spot, especially on a cold winter day. Pad Thai (Thai version) was also good. We’ll have to come back and try the other dishes, until then 3 stars for now.
Pros:
– Excellent service
– Excellent atmosphere and decor
– The quality of the taste of the food is excellent.
– The presentation of the food is excellent.
– I really like this place. (I like the location, I like the parking I like that it’s a little hidden away but still easy to get to, I like everything about it)
– I feel this is an underrated restaurant people don’t know about.
Needs improvement:
– I really like this place quite a bit that’s why I’m not removing stars for this but this is just my advice: some prices especially on the Thai iced tea and the other teas are higher then they should be in relationship with the amount of effort and cost to make them, in my OPINION I would recommend lowering the cost of the Thai ice tea to $2.99 and the tea pots should be at $4.99 (in the long run it will benefit you a lot more but that’s just my thought). The cost of the main dishes have gone up, but quality definitely makes up for that and the cost is due to the times for living in so I understand it and will not gripe about it here.
Conclusion:
Went here for two both res celebrations at the same time absolutely love this place they do an outstanding job and outstanding service I think the service goes a huge way to make people happy. They also give a free fried ice cream per birthday, which was absolutely delicious. In my opinion this place is awesome to try out. We will definitely be back.
Any tofu in mine and guess what it was full of tofu! It’s a shame $3 for a can of pop obviously no refills definitely won’t be back
