We are a full service restaurant and bar located in the Cuchara Village. We specialize in steaks and other American fare. Through the winter, we are open for breakfast and lunch from 7 am-2 pm. We have a Happy Hour from 4 pm-6 pm Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. On Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, we are open from 7 am-8 pm, and we offer dinner specials.

We had a reservation for two at 8pm, when we walked in there was no hostess for 10 minutes we stood there. When the hostess finally came out she still had people waiting for reservations for 7pm, she proceeded to tell them 15 more minutes. After waiting 45 minutes to get a table, then we waited another 15 minutes before any waitress noticed us, After we placed our order, a waitress came to our table to take our order as if the waitresses didn’t have assigned tables etc. another waiter took the menu off our table because the table next to us didn’t have one. People in the restaurant were leaving left and right because of the wait even though there were only three dinner options on the menu. There were more desert options than actual entrees. The live music was so loud you could not hear the person sitting next to you. Our appetizer came minutes before our meal, and was burnt $15 for 5 burnt jalapeño poppers.
When we finally got our steak, there was absolutely no seasoning.

Delightful place! I showed up at the tale end of the Sunday brunch buffet. The selection was pretty good, including salad (I chose the yummy miso dressing), fresh veggies, bacon, sausage, pancakes, fresh omelettes or scrambled eggs with tons of fixins, pancakes, quiche, a dessert bar and more. The servers were so sweet and the chef was kind and attentive. Would definitely stop back in if I’m ever in the neighborhood.

All I can say is WOW! The food was amazing. Rustic setting. Beef tenderloin was about as tender as I’ve ever had. The mushrooms were amazing. Bread pudding some of the best. Great off the beaten path fine dining. As an added bonus we got to see a bear in the road on our way back down the mountain. Definitely recommend to anyone.

I realize it was end of season and there weren’t any other restaurants open. The hostess could have been warmer. She was much more welcoming to other people. The server was nice. The food was dry and just not very good. Few healthy choices. I got chicken and my friend got meatless meatloaf. If we weren’t starving we wouldn’t have finished it. It was overpriced. Overall the experience was a bummer on an otherwise great trip.

We had a fantastic experience at the Timbers Restaurant. We walked in five minutes before closing and the staff happily and graciously accommodated us. We were greeted warmly, and served an amazing meal. Being that this is a very small town, they knew that there were no other options for us for dinner so they went above and beyond. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was beautiful and we had a wonderful experience. Thank you to the staff for treating two road weary and hungry travelers with kindness when I’m sure that you just wanted to go home for the night.

The chef/owner worked personally with my husband and I to deliver a Vegan meal that was delicious. The setting was very relaxed and enjoyable. The drive was definitely worth it and I would highly recommend this Restaurant to others.

Just ordered take out the last week of July 2020 and got the pulled pork and baked beans for my family. We are from KC and know our BBQ and this was phenomenal!! Also, not expensive. Would highly recommend!!
