What a find! This modest diner has some of the best sausage gravy we’ve ever had. The pancakes really are gigantic, and whoever decided to put crumbled bacon inside the pancake along with chocolate chips was a genius! Service was prompt and roadside-diner appropriate; the dining room was clean and roomy. All the chairs were captains chairs, so possibly not as comfy for really large people. Their seafood breakfast dishes are generous with the seafood, and the hash browns are great. My only warning is that the hollandaise didn’t seem scratch-made, but given the digs I wasn’t expecting that.
Truly a great place to stop if you’re in the Hood Canal area.

We ate breakfast here. They have an extensive breakfast menu, served all day. I had oysters, eggs, hash browns and toast. My husband had the Hang town Fry. It was delicious. The server was very friendly and outgoing, making us feel we were family. She also checked on us frequently to be sure everything was ok.

Great hearty food, good portion size. The clam chowder was excellent! The eggs Benedict came with a very generous amount of Hollandaise. Kids breakfast platter is a great deal and the home fries were very crispy. You can choose low carb sides with some entrees. Nice casual stop on our road trip!

One of my favorite go to local restaurants. The fish and chips are hand dipped morsels of deliciousness, served with some of the best French fries and tartar sauce you’ve ever eaten. I’ve had other items on the menu, all just as delicious. They close 3 PM Sunday through Thursday, open until 7 PM on Friday and Saturday. If you are in the Hoodsport area stop in, you will not be disappointed. Very reasonable prices. 5 star in my book.

Stopped spur of the moment. Still can’t breath I’m so full! So the place is super close to the water. Beautiful area. Fun little spot. Nice and clean with a good decor of beautiful art. The waitress was nice and very prompt. The food was outstanding. We had a French toast with marionberry so delicious. Thick but fluffy inside. B and G. Obviously home made. Seafood sampler type plate. Great breading the deep fried oysters were perfect. The shrimp is large and plentiful. The oysters eggs plate was delectable. So glad we stopped and we will definitely be coming back

A quaint little diner with all the diner atmosphere and attention to good food you’d expect from the PNW. This is truly a hidden gem. My wife and daughter got the chicken strips, generous portions, and excellent ranch for dipping. I got the clam chowder and battered cod both were better than I thought they would be by a great deal. If you’re traveling up the 101 make sure to stop by.

We’ve been coming to the Tides for lunch for years now. Located in Hoodsport, it’s a beautiful drive around the Hood Canal to get there. They have the most wonderful diner food. Hand cut fries are on point. Our waitress Jackie is great and has our order memorized! Great local spot!

The food was fast, tasty and sizeable. My waitress was very sweet and attentive and she gave recommendations for beer since their tab machine was down.
Small town dining but with good value. Though I had lunch, any place that offers breakfast all day is a winner.

Cute, quaint little place. Was greeted immediately by a nice young man. Service was a little slow, but they could have been busy or short staffed. The crab Benedict was amazing! Prices were right in par with portions. Usually breakfast plates are too much food, but these portions were perfect.
