Our axe coaches will guide you through safety and throwing technique and set you up for some friendly competition with your friends. The staff starts you off with a lesson then sticks around as-needed. Employees are a great combination of laid back and helpful. Each lane is named after a lake’s bay. Also, they sell beer! Get together with friends and check this place out.

New Favorite Place!!! They allowed us to wait for the rest of our party, who were running late, before we started. They helped give us tips on how to get better. Winter Games was the second time that I have been there and it’s now going to be a tradition for our family every time we go to Okooboji!

We had a company party here and rented out a couple lanes for a fun afternoon. This place is definitely worth what you pay – you leave with an experience that remains memorable months later, especially if you’re a first time axe thrower. The staff are awesome, non-judgemental, and helpful if you need assistance in your form. They start off with a quick 5 or 10 minute tutorial and demonstration, followed by an explanation of various games, and then allow you and your group free reign of the lane(s). They also have a solid selection of domestic, import, and craft beer as well as non-alcoholic options. I would definitely come back.
