The Telford Inn delivered from start to finish! We had a Friday night reservation and were seated right away, even with the bar packed. Chose outdoor seating and loved the misting system—it kept the air cool and comfortable. Started with wings (crispy, tender, perfect) and nachos that were hands-down a 10/10. For mains, the prime rib sandwich was juicy and flavorful, and the chicken ranch wrap was fresh and delicious. Our server was attentive without hovering, and the whole night just felt easy and enjoyable. Can’t wait to come back!

It’s funny to see people commenting/complaining about all of the doors to this place, none of which are labeled in any way; we experienced some confusion as well, but wasn’t really an issue.

Our server, whose name I don’t recall, was friendly & efficient; she knew the menu well and took great care of us.

Salads were good, and the seafood bisque was okay; the bread was pretty good. As for entrees, mine came with chicken, and it might have been the driest chicken I’ve ever been served – overcooked is an understatement; the sea bass was seared far too long on the one side, and left almost raw on the other (it was still edible, but not too palatable).

I think this place and the menu, paired with the great service, has a lot of potential, but there are far too many mistakes coming out of the kitchen.

I have eaten at Telford Inn for around 28 years. I took my Dad and my family there yesterday for Father’s Day. We didn’t have to wait because we had a reservation. This is not the case for other restaurants. For example, Riverwinds in West Deptford, NJ made my Mom and I wait on Thanksgiving for a long time even though we had reservations. I thought Telford’s menu for Father’s Day was fantastic. There were a lot of delicious options, and made me excited to go here for Father’s Day 2026. Our waitress was Hannah S. She was very nice. I requested a cup of coffee with half decaf. I’m trying really hard to stick to this, and it is not easy. I was nervous asking this. She was very understanding and didn’t hesitate to say of course and was very happy to take my request. She was quick and efficient. The atmosphere was positive. I did not receive any negative vibes whatsoever. I’m sensitive to vibes. The pricing was fantastic. I really miss the breakfast buffet. I remember J G Cook’s before it was J G Cook’s Carolina Blue. It was quiter and didn’t have flat-screen tvs. Telford now has flat-screen tvs. I miss these restaurants the way they were. Some restaurants are still like this, like the Franklinville Inn which was an amazing experience. However, I was really impressed with Telford yesterday. I ordered steak and eggs. I wish the steak didn’t have as much fat (which I couldn’t eat) but it was still cooked the way I like (medium rare) and tasted delicious. This meal came with hashbrowns, which were very tasty. I also ordered a fruit cup with vanilla bean dip for an upcharge instead of toast. The portion size was bigger than I thought, and my sister and I really enjoyed sharing this. The fruit was very fresh and the dip was a joy to our taste buds. My Dad and sister ordered the veggie omelette. My Dad also ordered a side of pork sausage. They enjoyed their meal. My Dad and Stepmom had tomato juice which they really liked. My sister had a cappuccino (which I suggested because it’s amazing here), and was satisfied. My Stepmom had the berry waffle and added whipped cream. Telford hooked her up, and wasn’t stingy with the amount of whipped cream. I don’t understand people’s reviews here about the new outdoor seating in front of highway. Landmark Restaurant in Glassboro has a highway as well. I don’t prefer to eat outside to be honest. There is even a bar outside. From our table inside we could see through the window. I believe they did a great renovation. I think it’s great Telford wants to provide more seating. The parking lot is not bad at all. It’s free and there is a good amount of space. Overall I’m very satisfied and am really excited to come back and enjoy more delicious food! Keep up this stellar service Telford Inn!

We absolutely love the food and service with the exception of one bartender Desiree. We have been coming here regularly since we moved here 3 years ago. The food and service are so good, that it’s a shame one bartender can ruin that. Every time Desiree is the bartender, she is crabby, doesn’t smile or acknowledge customers, and really doesn’t want to wait on you if you are not a regular. This has been the case for 3 years and we will not stay any longer if we walk in and she is the bartender.

Really dark in there
Wasn’t sure where the front door was
Hostess was nowhere to be found. Us and 4 other ppl were looking for her .
Ask the girl at the bar if she could make 4 simple drinks. She said no to all of them. Didn’t even ask what they consist of. I think a screw driver is pretty basic ” no sorry we don’t have orange juice ” would be a proper response. Then just a really fast ” no ” each time. Portions were so small for the price they were set out. With no seasoning. No flavor. Basic and bland. Fries had salt dumped on them. We had to shake them off just to eat them.

Server was super nice. He seemed new and learning. He did however tell me they couldn’t do something I requested but like 30 minutes after I ordered. So if I wasn’t cool with it I would of had to order something else and wait another 30 minutes

Won’t be back

I’ve been going to the Telford Inn for many years. Sometimes it’s a few months, other times I will go a few times in a month. The food is amazing, and they evolve their menu more frequently than other restaurants. Of course, the Prime Rib sandwich is always there, and always delicious. Servers are friendly, prompt and attentive during your meal. The decor is elegant with a hint of Revolutionary charm.

Last night I had the crispy Long Island duck, which was marvelous. I realized I’ve never written a review for them and it was long overdue! Definitely worth the trip.

Grabbed a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon, and the place was pretty empty — so I can’t really comment on the vibe. The food, however, was great and entirely satisfying. My maple walnut salad was delightful, paired with a fine side of salmon that was perfectly grilled. Add a few glasses of Chardonnay and you have a complete, balanced meal. The sweet potato fries our table shared, among the best I have ever had — a lighter, almost tempura crispiness. Best kept secret: their dinner rolls, a reason to seek out this place in their own right. I look forward to consuming a small pile of them with a bowl of bisque on my next visit. Oh, and our server was a doll, graciously finding a table to accommodate the wheelchair in our group when we arrived. Would love to go back when it’s livelier, but regardless, I consider the Telford one of the better eateries I’ve tried in the area.

Yea don’t order take out from this place so that way if you need to complain they will handle it there. Just got home and I ordered large dinner salad and soup …. The soup is $10 and it’s only a cup…all cream. The salad … well look at the photos. Never again will I order from here.

food was good, but only two shrimp on a taco (so four shrimp on two tacos) for $14 is steep. Was good though. Super friendly bartender, and the place has a great vibe…

I think you should take the shrimp tacos off the menu? Haha very, very disappointing. They’re sad, really. Consider not ever serving them to anyone again…no one else needs to pay whatever you charge for 2 tacos with 2 shrimp each and a bunch of cabbage. With a cup of salsa and a cup of some weird mayo-based sauce that was all kinds of out of place.
