For higher prices I will always expect higher quality. The food and establishment presents itself as sophisticated especially considering the prices. Yet you serve a steak that’s hard to cut, chewy? The steak was ok but WAY over seasoned. Over salted. The fries were the same way. My friend got lamb chops and I personally believe I have cooked better lamb at home. Maybe the place needs a new chef or a new menu all together. Nothing felt cohesive. Even the paring of certain sides with proteins was questionable. Won’t be back. I was unaware but now I know.
Service was prompt, friendly, and fantastic. The room we were seated in was gorgeous and full of windows on a rainy night. We would happily dine here again!
This place has gone down hill in the past year. Won’t be coming here anymore.
Chicken wings were ok. Too much dry rub.
Flies buzzing around.
Cesar salad was tasty and smaller pieces would be nice. The tuna tartare was Asian style, over salted and served with chips around it. The fish and chips – lots of delicious fish but the French fries could be a little more crisp.
The trout was delicious and plenty full! Unfortunately it sat on top of soggy, watery overcooked vegetables, on top of what could have been delicious grits.
The apple strudel was fantastic.
A little more attention to the food would have really made the difference.
