We were looking for a new go-to place and we sure found it. My husband has extremely high standards for food, very hard to please, but he says the New York strip sandwich is the best sandwich he’s ever had. Drinks are strong but not too strong. Portions are massive. Something for everyone on the menu. And the staff are all friendly, it’s a super chill vibe.

The food was delicious. We started with a big basket of onion rings that were really good. I had a salad. It was very large and I took most home for another meal. My son & brother had the BBQ. Our server was great.

Went to the Tavern for some burgers because my husband was craving and it was the closest place to our doctor office. Looked over the online menu and the prices looked decent. What we got was good burgers AND a $40 bill!!!! They charged us for old fries which looked and tasted like they were heated in the microwave from lunch rush and charged us extra for the burger toppings–lettuce, tomato and mayo. I was in shock and showed the waitress the online menu prices which would have been about $22. She responded that they didn’t know it was posted wrong on the website. She then snubbed me for not leaving a tip on a carryout order. No wonder there was only one person in the restaurant.

My husband and I stopped by The Tavern on a whim not knowing anything about the place…Oh boy did we stumble upon a local treasure. It was so quaint and spacious despite the appearance from the outside. The food was delicious, the wait staff were all very pleasant, and the restaurant itself was very cozy and clean. I will definitely be bringing my family here sometime to enjoy this hidden treasure in town. The menu ranges from the good old standards, to innovative specials, and elevated ingredients. Pricing is more than fair for the portions they serve.

A very friendly spot where my husband and I had dinner. Delicious food in a nice atmosphere. Service was fabulous! The vegetarian Penne Naturale was wonderful paired with a fresh, crispy side salad. Hubby enjoyed the NY Strip. Generous portions enabled us both to bring home leftovers.

Overall, good experience! Group of friends went here after a rec game and sat on the screened-in porch. Our server took good care of our table. The onion rings were fresh and hot. The Applewood BLT was solid, as were the homemade chips.

Actually was looking for another place my co workers and I went to on Patterson I couldn’t find it so came across this place. First time here was Leary at first but decided to go in especially being of another race. Anyway the place is nice, clean and the waitress was very friendly..ordered the burger it was cooked to order and a perfect medium Temp.. the fries were hot!! And the beer was super cold I asked the waitress was the beer super cold she said yes I asked her again to make sure and expressed how I do not like beer room temp but advertised as cold beer when asked.. how about the beer was super cold!! I was impressed!! Left a big tip as usual for excellent service. Beautiful place will return for lunch again one day!
