One of my favorite places to go out to! I had this place recommended to me by a family friend and it did not disappoint! Such a great atmosphere if you’re into hanging out, playing some pool or darts and having a couple drinks, all while listening to some great throwbacks. Just a great, low-key spot to go out and enjoy a few beers with friends on the weekends. I will definitely be coming back!

We have four URI students and went there tonight with them. I’m 65 and my wife is 52. Our sons were threatened and the owner did nothing. Obsene patrons threw a pool stick at my oldest son. Our children are Dean’s List students who have never encountered violence. We will be calling Narragansett Police Department tomorrow as they need far greater oversight of this bar. And, our sons were not carded despite being 21 and 24. How many minors are let in???? And, this is a cash only bar. Are all transactions reported to the Department of Business Regulation? I think not as I asked for a receipt and was told they don’t the capability. Parents, protect your young adult children.

Ralph opened this place up in the middle of the pandemic with virtually no customer base. My friends and I randomly discovered it and were some of his first regulars, and we kept the lights on and helped him out through the winter. My favorite college bar when I was back at URI, and every college bar is a tough scene, if you can’t handle it don’t go. Ralph is a stand up gentleman

Not crazy about this place. Drinks were really weak and my glass smelled funky. Mariner or the bar over at Arturo Joe’s is the move.

Dirty, sketchy clientele, poor drinks. No receipt and “in your head addition” with no sales tax added – cash only! Totally overcharged. Owner was extremely rude.

This place needs more oversight by the police or a bouncer! Too much riff raff. My friends and I didn’t feel safe. Stay away!
