UPDATE 11/28/25 – Owner is responsive which I greatly appreciate, so bumped up both service star and atmosphere star given the circumstances. Was offered a refund but am willing to take a credit and try again. Everybody has bad days and its heartening to see the owner trying to rectify. I’ll be more than happy to adjust stars upwards further if next time is better.
I had tried the store in Aston about 2 years ago but was not overly impressed. My husband recently went here in Media with a friend and really liked it so I ordered 2 brisket platters to go. Service was ok and the order was ready within stated time and kept warm. I would say the ambiance inside wasn’t all that great. Look like they were storing a lot of stuff in the dining area and the lighting outside was poor giving it an overall dingy appearance in the dark.
Arrived home and tried eating it… the brisket should have been fall apart tender but instead was tough and gristly. It looked like it wasn’t trimmed before cooking and was certainly not cooked long enough. Other BBQ places nearby that I’ve been to never would have served this! In fact in the 2nd picture, there was a bite I took and barely started chewing and immediately spit it out. It was also very VERY salty. The two platters you see were thrown into the trash can just as you see them. The bbq beans were merely ok. The collard greens and green beans were salty. Both tasted and looked like they came straight from a can. The cornbread had a sugar crust on top made it too sweet and the texture was like dry cake.
I really really wanted to like this place because its close-by. Consistency in food quality seems to be an issue, not only from my and my husband’s experiences but also from several other reviews. I hope for their sake they get that straightened out.

My kids and I ate at The Tattooed Pig in Media, PA for dinner tonight. The food was outstanding! The family owned environment was awesome!! Got to talk to Chef Floyd (owner/chef/pitmaster). He was so nice and friendly! This place makes great food but the feel and vibe were just as great! Can’t wait to get back there for more amazing eats!!

Whoa! Was not expecting the best pulled pork this side of North Carolina! Tender, juicy, perfectly seasoned! Such generous portions that I couldn’t finish my delicious sides. Cornbread is sweet, but not too sweet. Seasoning is balanced, not extreme. Homemade BBQ sauce & hot sauce.

My son brought me here for my birthday. We ordered a Jerk chicken cheese steak with fried onions, plus cheese fries. The sandwich was A+, the roll was so fresh the flavors were amazing and we loved it. We definitely will be back again.

I placed my first order here through door dash. When I tell you this food was sooo delicious!!! I had the fried fish apple coleslaw and sweet potatoes And an empanada. And they included some cornbread. !!! That apple slaw is fire !! So fresh! Def going to be a regular here but next time in stopping in !! ! Love it !!!

A delight for those gastronomically inclined every time I walk through their front door. Velvety cheese sauces (Morney!) And crispy edged, fluffy centered fries with a variety of spices applied with an utter disregard for the overland costs Rome once paid to the Kingdoms of the Near East.

Wow. Everything was so good. The wings were so good; the sauces are phenomenal. Literally everything was stellar and I’ll definitely be ordering from here again. The BBQ chicken is a bit spicy, so be prepared. Highly recommend

i either get the Beef Empanadas or the Farmers Burger, both are amazing so i recommend them. my husband usually gets something different everytime, and ive haven’t heard a complaint yet!
we always look forward to getting something here, when we’re in the area or when that craving hits 🙂

I ordered a couple of Sandwich platters, I was really excited. After waiting about an hour in store ( keep in mind I called the order in) i finally got the food and went home to eat. The BBQ chicken had zero taste . The sauce was ok, but they don’t give you enough. After the first few bite I was out of sauce, so I had to go to the fridge and break out the sweet baby Ray’s BBQ sauce to finish my meal. In the end I think it’s to pricey for them to be skimpin on the sauces. Yes you can buy extra but it’s like 20 bucks in a bottle. Whomp whomp. Looking for another spot.

Their food truck was at 2SP for a friends birthday and it was a great choice. They had a limited menu but the cheesesteaks, fries, and other sandwiches were a huge hit.
The Surf & Turf was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had. You wouldn’t think Shrimp and chicken would go great together but it did! Add in bacon and their chipotle sauce; it was amazing.
Definitely will stop at their storefront location and try out more of the menu.
