So getting a seat took longer than expected but it was in the 7 to 8 o’clock hour and I guess they are busy, service was great when we finally got a seat, she took our order and away she went only to find out a few minutes later they were out of boiled shrimp, so I had to switch to small catfish, the wife ordered shrimp salad, both comes with soup, after blessing food to come I go to get a bowl of soup only to find very little to none in pot, after waiting some time I took the remainder and settled for it, it wasn’t bad but not good either, after a while I finally received my salad which was small but pretty good, after what I thought was a good wait we finally received our meal, catfish which said small was not plus they were a little greasy and unfortunately tasted like mud, not as good as I thought they would be especially at a country restaurant, french fries looked to be cooked way before the fish, again not as I expected, on to the other side of the table, shrimp salad green part was good but the shrimp had way too much seasoning and you couldn’t taste the shrimp, for $53 plus tip my expectations were a little bit higher, not sure they’ll be a next time, we travel this way quite often but I think we’ll pass on and try a different location on our next outing, and yes second picture is what I left on the table.

I had grilled grouper, very thin and dry. My niece had the ribeye, so full of grizzle and fat that I brought a $48.00 steak home to my dogs. My dogs were happy but my niece still left hungry. The rest of our party had crab legs which they enjoyed. We enjoyed each other’s company,and the service was good.

Don’t get gator tail for a appetizer 14 dollars and about 10 little crumbles I got large shrimp the wife got small shrimp they were ok 66 dollars later this is the third time we have eaten there first time I got gator tail they were about 25 to 30 nice chunks second time they were about the same as tonight so I think it will be a while before we go back

Just happened upon this place in the middle of no where. Yelp reviews described it as a diamond in the rough. The place felt very clean. I had hamburger steak, Husband had the salmon. The hamburger steak was amazing! He is usually very picky about salmon but He had to know. The salmon was awesome. He has never had it the way they prepare it or the dipping sauce they serve with. It didn’t need the sauce but it took it to the next level. He loved it. The side salads are appropriate sized salads that won’t leave you wanting more. My son had the Shrimp Po Boy and he love it! He ate the whole thing! My husband and son also don’t usually like hush puppies but they loved theirs! The staff was friendly and our waitress was awesome! The next time we come this way we will definitely come back!

We came in unexpectedly with 30 people from a softball team, they were happy to have us! Very good service from the time we walked in until we left. Servers worked very hard to taking care of us. Food was great! A++

Never going back. I’ve ate there several times over the past two years. This time we were there 2 hours. Around 30 minutes for a wait. Sat at our table for over an hour waiting on food. People came in behind us, got seated after we did, gor their food and left before we got our food. I guess they thought we were tourist instead of locals. We had things to do at home like cut grass. Hard to do that at dark.
