My wife loved the fajitas. I wasn’t too crazy about the buttermilk chicken sandwich but the staff was super friendly and the environment was nice. I felt like we didn’t fit in we are a little more urban as a couple and we are Spanish so I was expecting to be shunned as usual but they were actually nice which I always appreciate. Thanks taphouse

The Taphouse in Wayne is big and clean with comfortable seating. The outdoor dining tent is a great option. The servers are attentive and polite. The online reservation option is helpful when planning ahead. Family friendly.

My girlfriend and I had a great experience at Taphouse Grille in Wayne. We went for appetizers/drinks in mid-January after the holiday rush had finally subsided. We were immediately greeted by the hostess and once again by the bartender when approaching the bar. After looking at the drink menu, we were greeted by a manager. Taphouse Grille is under new ownership and the entire team was incredibly friendly. They happened to be doing a sampling for new ideas for appetizers and cocktails and we were encouraged to try and give our thoughts. The management team was extremely receptive and eager to hear our feedback and everything was delicious. It was great to see that they are interested in creating a balance in offering some new options as well as keeping the menu largely the same to draw new customers and keep their regulars happy. In contrast to other reviews I’ve seen, the prices on the menu seem the same. I felt that there was good value at the prices listed and the portion amounts were perfect. All drinks and appetizers that we had tried were delicious! We literally could not stop eating the bacon wrapped jalapenos stuffed with fig and goat cheese. They also had a bourbon honey glaze and this combo was incredible. Definitely get these when you visit! We also ordered a pizza and it was cooked perfectly. Even after the sampling of food and pizza, I found myself eager to try more food! I’m happy to see that Taphouse Grille is in good hands with the new owners and look forward to coming back again soon.

We loved this places years back and decided to come back and what a disappointment. Not sure if came on the bad day but everything we ordered was not fresh. Bang bang shrimp we returned, they smelled bad, wings reheated and dry as a rock, nachos had dry old chicken on them. All 4 of us didn’t feel good last night. Honestly that’s how you lose customers, especially who live 3 min away. Also i caught some kind of bug who bit me, no wonder carpet smells som bad in this place. Never again!!!!!

Way overpriced. Terrible service. If the roasted veg pizza has no cheese, say that on the menu. Served cold. If I order coffee, do I really need to ask for a spoon, milk and sugar? Didn’t serve us together. Bring me a fork for desert please. If you serve me fries, bring ketchup.High priced drinks and way overpriced appetizers. Never again!

Liked this place. Been here twice and everything tried so far has been good. Not a lot of waiting to be seated or for the food. Servers are friendly. This is what i have tried: New York strip steak: great presentation, but was a little bland. The side of potatoes was perfect. Meat lover’s pie: great crust, good combination of meats, but I didnt like the honey on this. The honey was heavier on some slices than others. Chicken fingers: ok, but the honey mustard sauce made a great combination. Onion soup: liked the cheese on top of it. Braised short rib tacos: good flavor, but way too much meat. The taco itself was overly fried. Burger had awesome flavor and cooked perfectly. Tacos were a great starter and portion size would be enough for 4 people!

I wasn’t hungry by the time I stepped in because I had a big lunch. So I ordered the Seared Salmon on the menu, and I was planning to share it out. But when the food came, the food was so good that I ended up finished the whole thing by my own!! The salmon is just cooked at the right timing with great skill, so the skin is crispy and inside is cooked but the meat is tender not rough!! The dish come with some sautéed rice, since I’m an Asian, I’m really picky on how the rice are made. It was so good as well, the rice absorbed all the creamy sauce but not soggy. And I like that the dish is garnished 2-3 little pieces of pickled chili pepper, its purpose is to balance out the heaviness of the cream sauce and the fish oil. My friend ordered the Burger and they said it was great too. Highly recommend!!
