I had such an incredible experience at The Tapastry. From the second we walked in, the place felt warm, lively, and inviting. The ambiance strikes that perfect balance between cozy and energetic ideal for a fun night out.
The tapas were absolutely amazing. Every plate that came out was full of bold, fresh flavors and beautifully presented. Sharing dishes made the meal feel interactive and exciting, and we loved being able to try so many different items.
The cocktails were just as memorable. Each drink was crafted perfectly and paired so well with the food. We also met the owners, Pradeep and Adrienne, who were unbelievably kind and welcoming. Their passion truly shows in every detail of the restaurant.

Dining at The Tapastry was such a memorable experience. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a fun, social vibe that makes it perfect for sharing plates and drinks.

The food was outstanding from start to finish. Every tapa had its own unique flavor, and you can tell everything is made with care and high-quality ingredients. The menu has a great variety, so there’s something for everyone.

The drinks were equally amazing. The cocktails were creative and delicious, and the wine list had great options to pair with the tapas. It really felt like a complete dining experience, not just a meal.

Meeting the owners, Pradeep and Adrienne, was the cherry on top. They were incredibly kind and made us feel so welcome. Their passion and hospitality are a big part of what makes this place so special.

This new restaurant has potential but fell short on several fronts.
Despite plentiful tables in the dining area, we were seated at a high-top in the bar. It felt isolated and not super comfortable. Eventually we asked to move and were moved to a nice booth in the main seating. Our server remained the same, but he admitted this now meant he had to “circle” the whole restaurant, and at times we waited for water and other requests.
On a Saturday night, a Spanish restaurant was “too busy” to offer the paella listed on the menu.
The pan con tomate was unusual. The bread was not served topped with the tomato jam. And, well, the tomato jam didn’t taste like it should for this dish, more orange than red for some reason.
The charcuterie arrived without explanation to which cheese was which. There were basically no accoutrements on the board, not even the bruschetta the menu promises. The same bread served the same way came to the table as part of four different dishes.
The rest of the food was variable. The zucchini soup was good. Tortilla española was small. Patatas bravas were ordered but never arrived.
The room is bright and cheerful and the staff certainly seemed to have a positive attitude. However, it will take better precision, some rethinking of several dishes and presentation to be successful.

We went here for NYE dinner, and it was absolutely delicious! The drinks were very balanced and not overly sweet, and the tapas were simply wonderful. We ordered the garlic shrimp, Swiss tomato soup, seafood paella, and a few more. Those 3 were our favorites of the night. I will probably dream about the garlic shrimp until we go again. Also, it’s so beautiful inside, and the service was very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend!!!

Loved this place! We’ve got plenty of restaurants around, but finally having a tapas spot here is amazing. The food was delicious, great variety, and perfect for sharing. The ambience? Trendy, fun, and totally Instagram‑worthy… you’ll want to take pics before you even order. The bar is lively and the drinks are seriously good. Already planning my next visit!

Such a hidden gem in Libertyville. It’s a little tucked away and easy to miss from the road, but totally worth finding.

Great ambiance, super friendly service, and really good food. We loved the charcuterie, croquettes, and the goat cheese flatbread. Cocktails were excellent too.

Fun spot for groups and a relaxed night out. We’ll definitely be back.
