came here for breakfast with family and it was a delightful experience. the coffee was great and the food was excellent, all home made and fresh. I loved the mesquite drizzle on the avocado toast.
picked up a couple of pastries to go and was pleasantly surprised at how many gluten free options were available. the cinnamon rolls are super cute and the cheddar chive scones were fantastic.
highly recommend stopping by!

Girl and the Raven always serves the best biscuits and coffee! We haven’t been in a while and was so great to be back today. Had the seasonal cold brew and my husband had a mocha. Their coffee is top tier. They make the most delicious biscuits and serve Benton’s bacon! This place is a must visit.

I enjoyed lunch today. I arrived shortly before a very large party, yet my waitress was helpful and attentive. I ordered the Brunswick stew and Rabbi’s Reuben. The soup was amazing, one of the best I’ve had. It wasn’t salty, the broth was rich, and the ingredients were ample. It is served with a small piece of cornbread, the perfect accompanment. My Reuben was loaded with meat and kraut, so much so that the cheese didn’t melt in the center. A dilemma for sure as the outside was toasted perfectly. Melted cheese might have resulted in burnt crust. I’ll take the ample meat any day! I also ordered a brownie to go, delicious and very moist.

The Girl & The Raven is one of the most AMAZING cafes I have ever been to. Located in Abingdon, Virginia, this cafe is so welcoming and cute. It is a really nice coffee shop and cafe! I really enjoyed the chai latte and the cinnamon roll, they were incredible. I would absolutely recommend coming to The Girl & The Raven!

This is my first time coming here and thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it! Not from the area and love trying new places. The atmosphere is quaint and cozy in the dining area up front. There is a cool bar and take out counter in the back. Met the owner and was impressed with their hospitality and conversation. The cappuccino was smooth and bold flavors. The turkey melt is a must and Ruben did not disappoint. Our server was attentive and adorable. This is a must stop on your list for cafes and coffees.

I saw this place featured on one of my favorite van life YouTubers videos and had to come try it for myself and it was fantastic, for food I got the hungry savage panini and I couldn’t recommend it more the chicken had a little gristle but it was still a great meal overall. I also had an amazing peppermint mocha coffee. I would return here anytime!

The Ruben sandwich was delicious. The coffee is smooth. A nice place to hang out including a firepit out front.
It will be our new stop while traveling. My wife said the green tea has to be the best she has had in a long while.

We ordered daily soup, breakfast bowl, bluegrass biscuit and a cup of mocha. The tomato soup was a bit too sour for us. The breakfast bowl was delicious. The bluegrass biscuit was also nice, but it’s a bit too big & would be better to share by two people. Mocha was really nice with very nice chocolate flavors, and it doesn’t seem to use those common commercial syrup, which was a big plus for me. The vibe was really nice with a lot of beautiful art works / decor. Really enjoyed our lunch here!

Awesome breakfast spot in Abingdon! When you walk in, it feels very homey and cozy. The restaurant is very well decorated with multiple rooms to sit, an alcohol bar in one corner and a coffee bar in the other. All baked goods are homemade and you have to give them a try! We got the zucchini muffin (sounds weird but roll with it) and the carrot cake muffin. Both were excellent. You could tell they were fresh, very spongy in the middle. I got the bacon egg and cheese sandwich on a biscuit and the biscuit was incredible. Super buttery and filling. My wife got the flat white coffee and she said it was one of the better coffees and got at a coffee shop (usually she hates coffee from coffee shops). Overall, this was a super impressive restaurant that is a must hit when in town!

This is my third or fourth time there. Its very cute and the staff is all super friendly. I went for lunch with my sister shes doing kito and found food that wouldn’t ruin her diet. I normally go around breakfast. The food is delicious. I have recommended friends and family and I really do love going when I get the chance.
