This was our first time here. The beer was great and many different choices. The food was good but I really was expecting more choices. Appetizer was the buffalo chicken dip which was very good. Hubby got the Burnt Ends, which was really good. I got the shrimp tacos, which were okay. I personally didn’t like how the shrimp was chopped and all the slaw. The service was really good and the atmosphere was very nice. Overall 4 out of 5.

After a long day of hiking and white river rafting we were looking for a nice easy and relaxing place near where we were staying. And this was spot on. The variety of beers, and mixed drinks! Amazing! They have legal moonshine slushies!! They were very refreshing! Order some pretzel bites followed by some delicious meals that left us very happy. I tried this burger that had fritos in it and I was very very impressed… Combination of flavors was fantastic!. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. I accidentally broke a glass (bad magic trick) and they made sure we were ok first without judgment. Thank you taking care of us.

Edit* thought we would try one more time after new owners got things sorted. Definitely regret that. The menu has about six items. I believe it’s actually about five appetizers, a burger, a mushroom Swiss burger that’s unlike any other I’ve ever had in my life ( more on that later ), a chicken sandwich and that’s it. I ordered the mushroom Swiss and fries. Daughter ordered cheese fries. I got my burger, which had no mushroom gravy, just mushrooms a slice of Swiss and what seemed to be cardboard filler. I couldn’t eat it all because it was so dry and tasteless but I managed to get it down to the last 1/4. By that point, my daughter had still not received her cheese fries ( an appetizer)!! The ONLY thing worthwhile in here is the beer list and I assume that’s because they don’t make it. Betting this place is closed within five months.
One star in food because I can never get any. This business has a FB page with a number for some guy in Whote Supfir springs. The google listing is from previous owners and they have not attempted to channel it. Bonuses what’s in the menu without walking in. I walked in to see the menu and the guy says they don’t Ben have a phone number. So much for picking up food I guess unless you dine in. Not sure whom taught these folks how a restaurant becomes profitable, but it isn’t this way. Just door dasher Taco Bell instead 🙁

Sunday Brunch with Guacamole-Bacon & fresh Tomatoes! So yummy I dream about it! The Breakfast Pizza was very tasty with the honey dip! We tried a flight of their craft beers & I settled for the faithful Pinot Grigio! Make a stop by this local favorite! Close to I64 to go west or east! #supportingotherrestauranteurs

i just got a skillet cookie with ice cream and a blue moon and i will be back at this restaurant, i visited last saturday (8/16/2025) and i want to visit this saturday (8/23/2025) and try other food and drinks. also this place is clean and has awesome service… yeah yeah yeah.
skillet cookie with ice cream was very very flavorful and was at an awesome price of three dollars and the blue moon beer has to be the best beer i have ever tried in my life even though this is not a brewery or the brewery that makes blue moon, they do have blue moon on draft and it was 1,099 times better than johny bootlegger that i bought from one stop in poca. yeah yeah yeah… i can’t wait for the next visit… yeah!

After a change of ownership, I’m glad to see The Tap is back. Great selection of local brews. Thursday specials nice, got the beer flight $7.
Was a late night visit, the first time there since reopening. The food menu looks good , will go back earlier to try.

We had checked out their menu online and meant to try them out for a while but tonight we finally made the decision to go. We wish we had gone sooner. Their food is really great. I had the pulled pork sandwich with a side of mac and cheese, she had the mac and cheese with pulled pork, and we had loaded nachos for an appetizer. The BBQ sauce uses a vinegar base which happens to be our favorite and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Parking can be a bit hard to find but a good tip is to park on the lot off of 6th ave behind Shuckers and Coal River Coffee Company (both is those are excellent as well) and you can walk up C St and come out almost directly across from The Tap. They also have a great beer and sangria selection. You will not be let down.
