The Talking Tea Cup is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, welcoming, and truly wonderful!!!! you can tell they genuinely care about creating a special experience for their guests. The atmosphere is charming and cozy, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy good company. The sandwiches were so yummy, and the bread pudding was hands-down the best I’ve ever had, seriously unforgettable. And do yourself a favor and try the Snowflake Tea… it is AMAZING and easily the best tea on the menu. PS I traveled all the way from Arkansas… this place is one of a kind! ☕️

I visited with my family for the Mother’s Day tea time. The owner was accommodating when I was booking the appointment and allowed me to add an extra person at the time slot I originally booked at. I’ve been to a couple tea places in the area and my mom also went to school in England, so we have some expectations to the tea experience. The decor is very nice and homey. I liked the teacups we received, but the tea pots were very plain. I got the earl grey tea and found it to be mediocre. This is the first tea place I didn’t finish my tea. Their tea list is probably the smallest list I’ve seen compared to other places. The set menu we got was interesting. I agree with some other people that the plate-by-plate food serving was quite odd to what we were accustomed to compared to the usual towers that are served for English tea. We loved the scones and the curd flavors! I really did not like the cold strawberry soup. It was really hard to stomach, but I don’t like to waste food so I convinced myself I was eating yogurt. The sandwiches were very mediocre and packed with cream cheese. The desserts were probably the last straw for me because they were sooo sweet. I didn’t want to finish my plate, but once the bill was handed to me and I was reminded of how much I was paying per person ($65), I just washed them all down with tea. Our waitress was very warm and polite! All in all, it was a good Mother’s Day, but this won’t be one of our favorites for tea time.

Went with my family. Phenomenal time. The decor was exceptional. The owner curated all of the decor and changes it for every season or holiday. Stunning. 10 out of 10. Our server was so kind and helpful and professional. Loved it.

I attended their Bewitching Tea event, and let me tell you, it was beyond amazing! The atmosphere, the food, the tea, everything was perfect. I even won the costume contest! This was my first time visiting, and I had an absolute blast.

The food was absolutely delicious. Honestly, it’s a good thing a whole tray wasn’t brought out for some items, or I’d have been waddling out the door! The teas were exquisite, brewed beautifully and each one more delicious than the last. We got to sample four different flavors, and every single one was incredible.

We also learned about candle-magic and even got a little candle bag to take home. Everyone there was super friendly and welcoming! Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I can’t wait to attend another event!

I cannot say enough amazing things about the Talking Teacup. The setting itself is breathtaking. The history in the building adds to the ambience. They have a wonderful selection of teas. There’s definitely something for everyone. The food is absolutely phenomenal. Everything is fresh and scratch made. You can feel the passion and love that goes into each thoughtfully prepared dish. Not only was everything fantastic, but they offer a great value. This is the most affordable tearoom in the area, but I found their offerings to be the best. We will definitely be returning time and time again. I can’t wait to attend some of the special events they offer as well.

Patti and he team did an AMAZING job hosting the bridal shower I threw for my sister a few weeks ago. The food & tea were amazing— far more complex & well thought out then standard tea food, plus everything was baked in house. The decorations and atmosphere were also unmatched, I didn’t have to decorate very much since the venue is already so beautiful. The planning process leading up to the day was easy and their preparation & execution made everything go by so smoothly. I highly recommend hosting your next event here!

My girls and I took my mom here for a late Christmas gift. We had so much fun. The food was delicious and they had an options for food allergies and for kids. They were able to accomodate all of us. The kids got pink lemonade and the tea selection is vast. I enjoyed our time there and the decor was so cute and homey. My girls really enjoyed it. The wait staff is ver knowledgeable.
