The Taco Stand is really really good and I would definitely recommend going here. First thing that stands out is the prices. The tacos are super reasonably priced for the size and quantity you get which honestly made me order way more than I planned because it just made sense. Flavor is 100 percent there. I ended up getting the carne asada pollo asada pescado Baja and el pastor and all of them were great. They have this avocado lime dressing and salsa verde on the side and those pair perfectly with every taco. The Baja fried fish taco had a great crunch and a solid punch of flavor with the lime. Carne asada and el pastor were also top tier especially with the avocado and pico combo. Those were easily favorites. But honestly the number one taco for me was the pescado shrimp taco. I was surprised how good it was. Big chunky shrimp like four or five solid pieces packed into a small taco with tons of flavor which you usually dont get. Huge win there. Now the biggest miss by far was the churros which was a massive bummer because churros are my favorite dessert. They were basically like donuts super fluffy doughy not crunchy at all and just not it. Honestly probably the worst churros I have ever had which shocked me because they seem so simple. Even the sauce couldnt save them I would rather eat the sauce by itself. So yeah churros are a hard pass but tacos absolutely worth it. Go for the tacos skip the churros.

The pescado (fish) burrito was good. The selection of salsas and condiments is large. My friends enjoyed their food as well. Although the carne asada burritos were wet and drippy. Good al pastor as well. An order of fries are shareable.
The prices a bit high for the size of the burritos/tacos

The family and I love this place. The food is great, the service is always good and it’s always packed. It reminds me of a taco spot in TJ! The manager, I believe his name is Jose Gil, was very pleasant and helpful. The churros are a MUST here! Lines always out the door but it moves fast. 10/10 I recommend 🙂

The Taco Stand is hands down my all-time favorite taco spot. Everything just hits every single time. The tortillas are always freshly made, the portions are BIG, and it’s 100% worth the price.
This is my family’s go-to spot—we literally come here every single week, and they never miss. The staff is always super friendly and welcoming, which just makes the experience even better.
Highkey recommend trying their tacos, burritos, and sides—you really can’t go wrong. And their chips?? Addictive. I could eat them nonstop.
If you’re looking for consistently amazing food and good vibes, this is the place.

I was SO happy knowing that taco stand open in MV! Been to other locations and love their food. So glad that the quality of their meat and taste are consistent. I #1 go to is the Baja taco. Then the pork! I just discovered that they change “brand” of their chips. Yesterday when I was there, bought it again and taste thicker and feel more corn on it. Not sure if I like it… but over all just the matter of me getting used to it again. If I could vote, I prefer the old brand’s of chips. Still highly recommended! Oh dont forget the churros, it’s made on the spot, warm, fresh and delicious

The taco stand stands above the rest! The food is excellent!! The staff is very friendly the cooks can do a little cooking that’s for sure! and the atmosphere has a cool low-key feel. The last time I was there Yaveli greeted me with a big smile as she always does. She’s super nice and very helpful. The younger girl that works the register as well is very kind. She even asked about how I was doing physically after I told her the week before I was having some medical tests done. It is clearly a diamond in the rough especially in mission Viejo. And if you’re wondering I am not family, friends or an employee, just a food lover and lover of good service and that’s what you will receive at the Taco stand. Not to mention a killer baja fish taco and chicken or pastor burrito!! Cheers!

Oh. My. God!!!! Bomb!!!! I order chips & guacamole, asada taco & pollo asado burrito. The minute I tried the chips i knew. The tacos was sooo good. Next time im going to get an asada burrito. The chicken was good but the asada was where it’s at. The salsas were very tasty! I’m glad I tried a variety of them. I think my favorite was the creamy cilantro. My only regret is not ordering a single flour tortilla on the side so I can take it home & add some butter & I should’ve gotten the churros. Next time for sure!
