I’m going to withdraw all my reviews recommending other taco places in Miami because these are definitely the best. The guy preparing the tacos, my God, the way he moves his hands making 100 tacos deserves a big award. And the cashier too, such a great guy with a great attitude despite the huge crowd. I really hope they’re the owners, because if they’re not, they definitely deserve a bonus for being such amazing workers!

I was very disappointed! When a friend told me that they had hand made tortillas I was so happy! Finally a REAL Mexican restaurant..Well, my tortillas were falling apart, tacos were cold, Pastor was chewy. The Nopales ( Cactus) were raw!!! AC was extremely cold ( on a very cold day in Miami) and the water was dripping on my head. Cashier was not friendly. Will never come back. As a Mexican I can tell the good and the bad.

Very casual, few tables inside and outside but it is always full! Food is good, service was nice. Prices are decent for Miami Beach.

A real hidden gem in South Miami! The handmade tortillas make all the difference — everything tastes incredibly fresh and authentic. Prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.

Definitely try the Pescado Burrito — it’s outstanding! The corn on the cob is perfectly seasoned and truly a must-try experience. And the churros… simply the most authentic ones you’ll find around!

If you’re looking for a fast-food-style place with real quality Mexican food, this spot is totally worth it.

The taco stand was on my list for a while and we happen to be around this area so we gave it a go. The tacos are OK. I think overall, you do get a good amount of filling for the taco considering the price point, whereas at other places you get less for the same price. So from that perspective, nothing to complain.

Regarding the tacks, I prefer the pork taco much more than the cactus one, which I did not like at all.

Regrding the service, food gets delivered within 5 to 10 minutes and they make it right in front of you so we can actually watch them prepare for you.

This is definitely my favorite place to eat in Miami. Loaded fries had a lot of meat and cheese was also tasty and didn’t taste cheap. I also had pork and fish tacos that were juicy and flavorful. This place is not expensive compare to other restaurants in Wynwood. Must try.

Stumbled upon this taco stand in Miami Beach and both the food and service was incredible. Elvis, who was working there, was very kind and friendly—super rare these days and honestly made my night :). You could tell he actually cared for the customers, not just about the food but about the people coming by. The tacos hit the spot, but it was the warmth and hospitality that made this place memorable. If you’re in the area and want great food served with real heart, this stand is worth stopping for!

Absolutely fantastic food and an ambient that will make you leave happier than when you entered. Fast service, very cheap and where you even could add additional sauces and limes if needed. Incredible!

This place is amazing. We’ve been in town for four days and I’ve already eaten here three times. The only issue is the wait.

Two of those three visits, I waited 30+ minutes for my food even though the restaurant was empty when I arrived. Today I ordered at 11:50 a.m.; there were only two staff members working (one cooking and handling dishes, one washing dishes). By 12:17, I was still waiting on two tacos and an order of churros—and by then the place was packed.

It doesn’t take 30 minutes to make that order, especially when it’s not busy. The food is easily 5+ stars, but the lack of preparation and long wait times really affect the experience. If they can get staffing and timing dialed in, this would be an absolutely perfect spot.

I visited Taco Stand on Lincoln Road and Alto Road in South Beach after a friend swore they had the best tacos in the area, and I was not disappointed. The spot looks like a real local taqueria you might find in Mexico, not a Taco Bell or Chipotle, which immediately gave me the right vibe. I skipped tacos and ordered the fish burrito because I am pescatarian, and it was incredible. The burrito was huge, packed with tender white fish, pico de gallo, and a crisp slaw-like salad. There was no rice or beans, yet every bite was juicy and full of flavor, and it gave me a delicious flashback to my favorite taqueria in Boston and the authentic spots in Texas. My friend’s Al Pastor burrito was excellent as well. The staff were friendly and the place can be busy so expect a bit of a wait during rush hours, but it is worth it. I liked it so much I went back the next day, and it is now one of my top Mexican spots in South Beach. Highly recommend.
